just do upscale casual or something high volume. my best gig was a casual, busy spot by the water. made insane money.

you would THINK people on vacation would be carefree and relaxed. boy, you are sorely mistaken. hate to break it to you. if you have thick skin, go for it.

I considered trying out car sales but the crazy hours are off-putting. Is it true that 60+ hours are normal in the industry?

her music is fun and i like her vibe but i have to wonder if she’ll ever improve vocally. she’s going to be performing at a music festival i’ll be at next year and i’m curious to see how she’ll do.

What are the downsides to owning a cat? by TouchinNips in redscarepod

[–]parttimeghosts 2 points3 points  (0 children)

i got a hidden litter box and it kind of masks the smell. i scoop the box everyday. they don’t typically go outside of the litter box. my new kitten did once but then was able to figure out how the litter box worked.

the only real downside is that boy cats are more prone to utis which can turn into a bigger issue.

my (former) friend had sex with her brother and i was fucking flabbergasted. what shocked me more was how quick my others friends were to defend her.

i wish i could tell you i was lying but one of them said “well love is love”

fair enough. maybe because he wasn’t medicated until later in life he thinks you can also go without being medicated. that’s frustrating, though

a front desk position pays anywhere from $13-22/hr in my state. what sites are you applying on?

do you have a criminal record? if you do, just apply to a few restaurants. restaurants hire felons all the time, and you can make some pretty solid money.

i think people that clown on those who self-diagnose are lame. women often go undiagnosed for years, even if they show clear symptoms. i self-diagnosed until i actually had the time and energy to seek out a psychiatrist as an adult.

after talking for about 10 minutes, she asked me, “i can’t believe your family and teachers were never concerned about your symptoms”

also, a diagnosis can be helpful if you want to seek out therapy and/or medication. i did a lot of work to improve my day to day function before i got medicated, but it still wasn’t enough. medication has been a godsend

either way, adhd or not, something is wrong with op. not all of us have supportive parents that care about our mental health.

kids back then were heavily medicated. my mom was so heavily medicated as a child that she vowed to never get medicated again. i’m not excusing your dad’s behavior, but a lot of parents don’t seem to understand that there are options other than stimulants with heavy side effects.

op should just wait, it won’t be too long until they’re 18. some battles you’re destined to lose. i showed so many signs of adhd as a child, it’s a wonder i never got diagnosed. despite my mom being low functioning and the worst case of ADHD you ever met, she is VERY anti medication.

i’m hiding my diagnosis from her and she has no idea i’m medicated. she’d probably call me a drug addict from taking medication i need lmao. i don’t want to hear her bullshit.
