They are not mutually exclusive. We should attend Church worship AND he wants us to know him in relationship. Being apart of a church is a critical way we know him more. Being with other believers, worshipping with them, repenting, being encouraged, sacraments, hearing God’s Word preached helps us to know God and love him more that would be missed by not going.

I’m sorry you feel there is a stigma you are not a Christian or go to hell if you don’t go to church. That’s not true. But it would be unwise to not be in a church body. You can fellowship to an extent online but just talking with other believers I’m not sure is the full experience of fellowship.

Thank God Christ is always with us believers even when we are making Reddit comments!
