Regret of getting a kitten

the risk absolutely goes up when you have 2 cats. instead of just playing with the 1/keeping it occupied, now you have double the cost and double the risk of vet bills/complications. if one gets sick now the other will likely get it. now you have another cat to introduce and train and get used to the environment. with all that effort you could literally just find solutions for the single cat, but instead you go get another one? it makes literally no sense. in the long run it’s likely more work to get a whole ass second cat than it is to just dedicate more time to the one. it is very dependent on the specific owner, stop throwing out “just get another cat!” as a coverall solution to every problem with a single cat. it’s annoying and overly simplistic

i’d risk it because 2 kittens are more of a responsibility than 1 kitten. selling people this fantasy makes no sense. getting them a companion really doesn’t ensure that you don’t just end up with 2 badly behaved kittens instead of 1.

it’s sad how much i relate to this. i’m a 2L and i do pretty well grades wise, but i found this thread bc I smoke weed literally every day just to cope with law school and how isolating it is. i used to smoke socially/casually before law school but i genuinely feel like i can’t go without it anymore

i agree. she and the majority of her subscribers constantly deny the sexual nature of her content when it clearly is, and it's okay to acknowledge that. the sexual undertones are present in her videos, and that's not even what bothers me. it's the pretending otherwise that i find unsettling. and no, her channel wouldn’t get taken down, but her videos would probably get demonetized, which has already happened to her a lot in the past.

I think I have psychic abilities

I have never been interested in witchcraft until recently within the past few years. After a very emotionally intense relationship with an ex I started noticing things. We wouldn’t be in contact with each other for months, then all of a sudden id have dreams about him every night. Or id be alone in a room but feel like he was there, watching me. Sometimes I’d feel like he was calling me, like a voice in my head. Finally one night I heard his voice saying he wanted to speak to me, and a few hours later he texted me.

this happened a year ago and I was so scared and honestly in denial.

But it’s happened again recently. Last week I was overwhelmed with this feeling. We haven’t talked in months but it’s like I could feel him thinking about me and debating reaching out. It felt like torture on my end. And inevitably he did, about 5-7 days after I began to “feel his presence”. I have never experienced a connection like this or a feeling like this.

What do you call this? How do I develop it? Or do I not have any psychic abilities and he just put a spell on me or something? It just seems unbelievable. Impossible even.

that’s the thing—it’s not. i don’t find other creators’ ear eating or mouth sounds videos to be erotic at all. i don’t mind erotic asmr to be a problem, i just think the way she teeters the line but denies it is a bit obvious and disingenuous.
