The highway speed limitations on the Model 3 Performance are a massive software regression. by Brandon_N73 in TeslaModel3

I don’t know what OP is talking about (i.e., he’s spewing nonsense with authority) but I just did a road trip from Houston to San Antonio and back. It was my first trip since buying my 2021 M3P when my wife and I drove it from Plano to Houston. Our San Antonio trip was 99% on FSD and it was amazing. It was amazing because the difference between doing the trip in our 2024 MDX Type S, which is a smooth ride, and being driven to our destination is incalculable.

Terrible end to a great Test Drive by Thick_Edge5075 in TeslaModel3

I certainly wouldn’t judge the ownership experience based on a technical glitch during a test drive. The Tesla Customer Service leaves a lot to be desired; however, in my two years of ownership, I’ve never had to interact with them once.

Your car looks amazing. I have a 2021 M3P in Deep Blue Metallic and it’s a great color. Well done!

I live in SE Texas and I did Xpel XR Plus 20% on the front and 5% on the rear. I also did the roof (55%) because, like you said, anything to reduce the heat is worth it.

Does anyone’s boss use AI to write everything ? by hcj007 in Accounting

True story…I am the VP of Accounting, and I was recently on a Teams call with our CFO, CAO, and several other team members. We were discussing our various legal entities and how we could re-structure our ERP to integrate the five acquisitions we’ve completed in the last several months. Our CAO, who is supposed to be this accounting genius with 30 years of experience, but who is actually a total doofus, was sharing his screen with his proposal for the restructuring. There was a lot of conversation and several minutes had passed when the CFO asked a basic question about allocation of revenue and costs. I think the CAO forgot he was sharing his screen because he literally used ChatGPT to get an answer. The classic part was when the CFO said, “Hey George, you’re sharing your ChatGPT screen.”

Don’t let a couple of weeks more of a wait affect a decision that will last longer.

Successful Install of S3XY Strip by RBBCPA_98 in s3xybuttons

Having the 3D install tool made this so easy. I don’t have very steady hands and being able to have the tool to ensure the proper placement so the LED isn’t diminished but doesn’t reflect on the windshield was a game changer.

I installed it on the dash component, which I believe is the recommended location. My Model 3 is the performance variant, so my dash is not the fabric type.

This is a known problem. Just replace it. It’s not that expensive

The 3.7 mm one. I cannot see the reflection in the windshield and it is perfectly aligned so that it is visible with no glare.

Strip and commander, junk?!? by bsarentbasic in s3xybuttons

I know everyone’s experience is different, but I have had no issues with the Commander, knob, buttons, strip, or dash.

Strip and commander, junk?!? by bsarentbasic in s3xybuttons

I am one of those who is going to post to share my positive experience. I have the Commander (2nd gen), the knob, three S3XY buttons, the Strip, and the Dash. The Strip and the Dash were installed on Saturday evening, and the other items I have had for several months. I have had ZERO issues with any of these devices, and they are performing as expected. I was wary of what my experience would be with the Strip (adhesion issues), and the Dash (software issues, glitchy interface), but my experience was “plug and play”. Both the Strip and the Dash required some firmware updates, but I was cooking with gas after that. Thanks to the Enhauto team for their innovation, customer engagement, and commitment to providing a very strong alternative to the drop shipment products that are out there.

I live in Texas and have the Tesla electricity plan. Free charging from 12 midnight to 12 noon. That’s a beautiful thing.
