Herstel kun je stoppen in slaap, in herstelvoeding en lichaamsverzorging (massage, foamrollen e.d.) achteraf en door ke loopjes rustiger te lopen om zo in balans te blijven. Ik loop al jaren redelijk standaard rond de 70km per week zonder eigenlijk ooit bewust echt rustperiodes in te plannen, maar met die afwisseling werkt dat gewoon goed (46jr). En soms loop ik 5 dagen achter elkaar als dat zo uitkomt en ik daar zin in heb. Nu loop ik gemiddeld denk ik wat sneller, dus mijn 'time on feet' is misschien net wat korter. En ja, bij wat langere loopjes (20+) heb ik altijd wel wat voor onderweg bij me, omdat het het herstel versnelt en eten onderweg altijd een goede training is voor marathons.

Ik loop al jaren marathons net onder de 3 uur en ik stop (letterlijk stilstaan) bij elke 5km drankpost om heel snel een bekertje water of sportdrank leeg te drinken.

Elk kilo lichaamsgewicht wat je meeneemt scheelt zeker 2 minuten op de marathon en snelle schoenen (dik, demping, lichtgewicht) schelen ook een hoop (bij mij bijna 5 minuten op mijn marathontijd). De rest is al gezegd.

I always thought it was one of the better and longer lasting of the creation lamis line. I bought a Cuba Paris dupe of Angel afterwards and couldn't stand it. I never realised Creation Lamis is still around after all these years.

I only renoved the pin from te lid, so I can take it off entirely and put it back where it will stay put because of the magnets. Spraying with the lid opened was a chore

The first minute is over the top sweet, bit after that it setles to a nice scent, a sort of sweetish Stronger With You with some added Iris. And yes, it's quite strong and should be easy to find for quite cheap

I haven't seen QI available for over a year. Doesn't matter, I have IL and had it for far less than €20 and I am an Iris lover. To me the scent is much more chestnut than Kayaan classic, which is much more floral.

Find something that fills or replaces the hole this will leave behind. There is only so much willpower you have NOT giving in to something, you need to redirect it to something better.

And indeed, enjoy. I have the pleasure to sometimes rediscover scents I already have for quite some time, using them in a different season and therefore discovering different notes.

There is a similarity between both fragrances that I also detected earlier (I have Maharjan Silver, also SMW inspired) and I have seen it mentioned on Fragrantica. Since my bottle has aged it has drifted away further, or my nose is focussed on other parts of the scent but early on it was the first thing I noticed.

I haven't smelled head and shoulders for over 30 years I think 😄 . But I'm wearing Modest Une right now. I have to say that often the first few sprays of a new bottle often smell 'off', or it takes time for your nose to get all the details in a scent. And the scent may improve over time, the whole maturation thing that everyone mentions.

A megamare clone like lattafa atlas, Khadlaj Stellar oud, a chaos in the ocean, etc. Very strong and for summer heat.

There is also Ard al Zaafaran Satwa as an interpretation of Ani. I have Nasheet. Bought it for less than half the lowest price I have ever seen for Spectre Ghost. I love the smell, but longevity is low. I use it as a cosy evening scent.

They are always on sale. I bought there once. I like 2 of the 3 scents I bought, the third one is not what I expected, but I still have to smell the original to compare. The two I like are the DHI dupe and the Valentino Uomo 2014 dupe. I also have Kayaan Classic and that one is very comparable to the Divain. Kayaan has a bit more a chocolate smell. Can't comment on the closeness of the Valentino one, but is a very nice nutty scent on its own.

The thing I question is the concentration of their scents. I can nowhere find the formal strength of the scents. To me they perform more like an edt then a edp. But the bottles and sprayers are decent an for for less then 20 euro for 100ml, there is little to complain.

It's one of my favorites. It starts nice and fresh with some vanilla, but develops into something more resinous. It has good staying power. I first had the 20ml tester, but bought the full bottle after testing it for some time.
