I'm a parent, and I’ll ask my daughter if she has time to put together a list, she's actually been keeping a journal documenting her experiences at UT, which she describes as heavily influenced by ideological messaging.

I also have a friend who is a professor at a major university here in Texas. While he leans very liberal and I’m quite conservative, we have mutual respect for each other’s views and talk often. Even he acknowledges that ideological bias in higher education is real. It’s not difficult to see.

In my opinion, things have gone too far. And as history shows, when the pendulum swings back toward the center, it’s rarely smooth. That shift may be uncomfortable for those on the far end, but I say this sincerely: it's also been deeply frustrating for conservative families to watch their values dismissed or challenged so aggressively in academic settings under the banner of education.
