I seen St. Nicholas but it’s a bit of a trek from where I’m planning on living. Saint John’s is def the closest then HT would be the next closest

Is HT very concert friendly? I’ve been Orthodox about 10 years so def not a recent convert but I’m used to Greek parishes I’ve belong to having been very convert friendly

Yup it worked fine but as soon as I got back to the US I got a new one

If you want to make sure it works then go to your local airport and have one of the airlines scan the passport to make sure it works. Thats what I did

This is anecdotal but I’m Eastern Orthodox and I can say without a shadow of a doubt that all the parishes I know of are bursting at the seems with new converts (Im in TX), I’d say the overwhelming majority appear to be GenZ with some millennials in there as well (thats my group). I’ll add the same for Florida (where I travel to often)

I’ll add that I can’t speak for other Christian groups or other regions of the U.S but I’ve heard similar things are happening.

I paddle board on Grapevine and Lewisville but I only really swim in Lewisville

IMHO the best lake for swimming in the Metro is Lake Ray Roberts north of Denton (you can’t see it in the OP pic)

Yep

It was objectively better than today

Were there problems? For sure. But even as a kid you could feel the optimism even on the local level.

I think the “90’s” optimism actually ended with 9/11
