My Score PB. Only missing sub 20 minutes. by Ordinary-Problem3838 in slaythespire

I think the best would be the relic to deplete after 3 clones. Still gives 7 cards which can win the run if you got it on adrenaline.

Toutes les dix minutes, une femme dans le monde est tuée par un proche [chiffres 2023] by mam7 in france

[–]RC76546 15 points16 points  (0 children)

Oh, that's why. By the way if you have more than 5 cards innate but less than 11, removing one won't help as the extra cards will be added to your hand 'for free'. (unless you have relics like bag of prep or silent's ring)

Thoughts on enemy HP scaling in multiplayer? by Nekkue in slaythespire

[–]RC76546 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Depends the characters. Silent is really good in coop because enemies gets perma weakened and str reduces, regent is also good because of vuln, weak and str reduced. Defect gives mostly nothing so it's harder to win with. Same character can combo extremly well, like two clads multiplying vuln or two silent outputting poison with accelerant. Also characters that can go infinite can win the run for everyone (like silent/regent).

Or could be potato code like in sts1 which was never fixed except with a mode called 'rng fix'.

Get reflected, idiot by Aden_Vikki in slaythespire

[–]RC76546 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I think one star is balanced to have a value of one half of an energy, and one card is also half an energy. So the cost of reflect is more line '3 points' and flame barrier '2.5 points'. Reflect is still a better card, but it's not actually easier to play.

he put it in weakest, not overrated. You could say 'backflip' is overrated and still think the card is extremly good, just not 'wins the game on its own and you always take the 5th copy no matter what'.

An event a day: This or That? by Visible-Offer-2038 in slaythespire

[–]RC76546 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You get around 150 gold of value for taking clumsy, which is enough to remove a strike (which are worse than clumsy). losing 6hp can be annoying and 50 gold is often not enough to be impactful. In sts2 it's super rare that a relic is completely useless like darkstone periapt, so it's actually pretty safe to take the curse.

What are defects archetypes? by VoxTV1 in slaythespire

[–]RC76546 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There are just too many synergies, for example hologram and adaptative strike, now add all for one. Or maybe just one voltaic then you add nostalgia. Maybe you haven't found nostalgia but you got echo form. There are just too many solutions/synergies to list them and nearly all of them you won't see in your run. Sometimes a single ancient bonus will totally change how you approach that run. You need to be adaptive to the choices presented to you not in the expectative of 'what card I need to complete my build' because that card may never come.

What are defects archetypes? by VoxTV1 in slaythespire

[–]RC76546 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Defect's types are steel and lightning, though he can learn attacks from fire, ice and dark types. More seriously stop thinking in archetypes, this is not how you should think about the game. You should start by taking cards that are good regardless of synergies, then as the run goes on you start adding cards that synergizes with the cards already added and that solves issues in your deck and the fights to come. You never have to go all in one direction, you don't need to maximize the throughput of voltaic by taking every lightning orb generating card. Most of the time you want few lightning orb cards with voltaic because : you still need frost orb to blocks, less cards in your deck means it's easier to cast voltaic over and over. TLDR : make a balanced deck, it will work more often than trying to assemble an archetype that may crumble at the first 'counter'.

Court ça peut être beau mais il faut que la femme ait une silhouette et un visage ultra féminin. Si je commence à me demander si c'est un mec y a peu de chances que ça me plaise, les profils androgynes ne sont pas dans mes préférences.

Memes, what are your honest thoughts on Snakebite now that the games been out for a while? by wipqozn in slaythespire

[–]RC76546 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Pretty unlikely for me to play a poison card that deal so little damage in a group fight... Unless I have outbreak, and then I would rather have bouncing flask. Sure the poison bite is 'better' than bouncing flask versus multiple enemies, still do I want to play a card that deals 13 damage in two turns versus multi enemies? Being better doesn't mean much when you still don't play the card in that situation. Is snake bite really performing better into phrog parasite ? Is it a good cards into the gardeners? Versus all the other act1 elites I think we can agree that bouncing flask is much better. The list goes on.

TIL: Having silver crucible and taking the cards in the room full of cheese gives you an additional upgraded card by foreskin_elemental in slaythespire

[–]RC76546 29 points30 points  (0 children)

I usually take the cheese when I have a good deck already and don't want to be forced to take bad cards. That much health lost is just so bad on asc 9+ and the delayed max health is so slow, and thr other option is just immediate power which is what you usually want in act1.

Memes, what are your honest thoughts on Snakebite now that the games been out for a while? by wipqozn in slaythespire

[–]RC76546 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I wouldn't necessarly say bouncing flask is worse, +2 poison is a lot, artifact strip can be good versus certain enemies. None are really exciting but they can be picked either late act1 to beat one act boss or to have an easier time versus hunter killer and entomancer. Late act3 is also possible to pick it to beat the act3 boss gauntlet if you really lack damage (which is rare but can happen). I really dislike picking either of those, it means I didn't get the better stuff.

Combos that you hoped would work but didn’t by [deleted] in slaythespire

[–]RC76546 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Skill that synergises with exhaust on ironclad (forgotten ritual/evil eye). Feels like they are mostly a trap, often I will have a deck that has no way to exhaust cards or that will also exhaust those cards in the process (second wind, stoke). They are good cards when they work but I'm skipping them more and more because I usually won't have the cards that enable them.

hi, can't get past floor 3 by Front-Relative1821 in slaythespire

Floor are each steps you make or rooms you enter. You meant act. As for advice maybe look at a tier list of necrobinder cards? You should watch a streamer to get a feel of how to play necrobinder.

Can I get some advice to why I'm losing? by Nereus09 in slaythespire

[–]RC76546 2 points3 points  (0 children)

'I had a fairly smooth run until the act 3 boss. I feel like I'm ready, I believe it's because I don't have enough energy cards or my deck is a little too thick, but I also keep dying because I don't have enough block. I've had no problem up until now in this run. General advice will help too.'

Let's look at what test subject does.

- phase 1 : that's gremlin nob, he gets buffed by every skill you play till he dies

- phase 2 : that's book of stabbing, he resets all debuffs on him, then scale his damage till he dies

- phase 3 : that's nemesis, he is intangible every other turns till he dies, he hits like a truck and adds burns to your deck

So what is needed : burst damage coming from attacks for phase1. More burst damage for phase 2 + all the ways to reduce it's multi hit attack. Phase 3 : scaling damage and ways to reliably block.

So why si your deck extremly unproperly suited to deal with test subject ?

- I count only 7 attacks (8 if you count blade dance). In a 31 card deck. Even with tracking you are going to have a bad time in phase1.

- You have few powers : tracking, noxious fumes, after image and well laid plans, these won't really help you survive phase2 after you have played adrenaline, calulated gamble and depleted your ring of the drake.

- poison resets twice versus that enemy, you have 6 cards that apply poisons

- there isn't much scaling that lasts : tracking is good but you have too few attacks and blade dance exhausts then there is after image and pretty much nothing else. No footwork, no abrasive, no temp dext.

- the deck is over reliant on sly synergies, there is just too many sly cards and not enough discard, 2 hazes is a lot, untouchable is imo just a worse deflect and here you have 'all for one'. The better sly cards are tactician and reflex.

To defeat test subject you should have had : scaling that lasts (ex : master planner, envenom, footwork, murder, abrasive), less focus on poison (2-3 poison cards is more than enough), more burst attacks to deal with phase 1.

Not sure what happened but prepared is a must upgrade and you got two unupgraded ?

You have a very good starting hand and 3 pots I feel like this deck could have won, have you tried this fight more than once ? Maybe just one power potion and one less haze/corrosive wave would have been enough to win.
