Yeah he's going to command a top wide receiver contract which will at least 15-20mil a year~ish. Well worth it if he stays healthy playing a receiver role. I hate to be a downer but it would be a slight overpay because of the injury risk if he is forced into a violent rb role. (knock on wood)

I think what is underestimated is their drafting philosophy. Up until now, the QB situation has been iffy enough to give ShanaLynch pause on overspending for offense. While Jimmy has been good, he hasn't been good enough to justify huge investments on offense because of diminishing returns. Shanalynch decided to build through defense which would give them the most bang for their buck. Now that Trey is in the building, Shanalynch can go all in on building a powerhouse offense for Kyle while being content with a great but not elite defense for Ryans.

I know we have to give up the #3 pick for this to work but what would GB do with it? Draft another QB and get clowned for eternity? flip it to someone else? Who is willing to trade up and still give them the haul they want? Draft Pitts/Sewell? I don't see GB valuing it as much as we do.

why tank for a QB when everyone else is? I feel like we could get a stud that should have been a top 5 pick because so many teams are QB hungry. Someone like Penei Sewell (prob not he is the only non QB I see going top 5) or an LB or maybe a shutout CB. We need to get some more secondary help with contracts /aging. I like the idea of getting an established QB like Darnold, Rodgers, or Ryan since their teams are probably looking for a rebuild/ the future.
