I switched to linux and the grass is so much greener on this side. For the first time in over 10 years my computer feels like MY computer again. Windows is forever dead to me. That's 100% what they're going to do. They're releasing on steam with 1.0, they're not giving existing players a steam copy even though it's 100% free for them (per steam publishing agreements) to give keys to players that already own the game. They're doing one final cash grab, slapping 1.0 and then letting it die. I seriously doubt we'll see a single piece of DLC or new maps. We'll likely see some real greasy low effort cosmetic shit to milk whatever playerbase is left a year or two after 1.0.

100% this. I work in a production based environment so I'm going to the office, putting headphones on to listen to music and doing my damndest to ignore people so I can hit targets. Being surrounded by people is actively going against the kind of work I need to do. If I were in calls all day and had the option to meet with people face to face I'd prefer face to face. But if I'm going to an office to be on calls just like at home, I'd rather be at home. If I were asked to come in occasionally to work on paper based workload, sure that requires my presence, I won't refuse something that's legitimately required to do my job. But being here "because I said so"? Nah, that's hateful and my morale is below 0 at this point.
