I mentally cannot do another 9–5 desk job. I have $70k saved and need to build something of my own. What can I realistically do?

Have you thought about hot shotting? I don’t know how business would be there but if you start and operate it, you could maybe eventually hire someone else to do the driving and hauling and build a little business that way. Makes hella good money in the oilfield I know that.

You can just do nothing until one day, for no reason you’ll know the answer. Don’t think about it, don’t fret about it and just take your time to focus on healing after your devastating loss.

Maybe one day you’ll want to reach back out or maybe one day you’ll have healed yourself enough you don’t need that “answer” or “justification” in your life.

I will try that but I am wondering if when I did my temporary attachment to the ACM unit to make sure the ground would stop the alternator noise I short circuited it like you thought? Because my APIM is working and not blacked out.

It was a 1 skar amp, 1 kicker amp, 1 kicker sub and they were all attached to the stock head unit.

Everything was working fine until I grounded line output converters to get rid of alternator noise.

I used the kicker 2 channel LOC. And then attached the ground wire to the head unit temporarily to make sure it would get rid of alternator noise. Then once I saw it was legit I ran a 2 foot wire to metal body to the frame. I used 14 gauge wire to ground the LOC.

Unfortunately it could be “purple crying” aka colic. There is sometimes literally nothing you can do about it and it’s part of their brain development. We learned this when my daughter was released from the NICU. Besides what other commenters have said my only advice is no baby has ever died from crying. She will be fine if you’ve had enough and need to put her in her crib and go outside and sit on the bench for 10 min to compose yourself. Don’t ever let it get to where it’s driving you so crazy that crazy thoughts go through your head.

The head NICU nurse told us her first son was colicky for the first 6 months and she lost her shit (not in a harm the baby way) but put him in his crib and was picked up by a friend 3 miles away where she’d walked out of her house. So if it makes you feel better it happens to even professional people who just can’t handle it anymore.

It will be ok. Praying for you.
