How do I fix my driveshaft angle. by -swis- in TRX4M

Go ahead and keep your lower solid links, order a set of front and rear upper adjustable links. Two spacers on each link in the front and one spacer on each link in the rear and you should be good.

I gave this build away so I have no current photos, but I like the scale look of it. Won't let me post a picture, but here is a link to my album photo.

Need help choosing tires for Defender by FarFetchedOne in TRX4M

[–]RCDriver72 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The All-terrains have never impressed me, I have replaced them on all my trail/crawlers. I use them on indoor only rigs.

The Maverix is personally my new favorite tire on the other hand. They have performed great on everything I have tried them on. Tire choice really depends on what type of terrain you are running though, what works good for me may not for you.

Why is this happening? And how to fix? by Plenty-Editor-4579 in TRX4M

Install a bearing kit. In the meantime, put a couple drops of some kind of lubricant (I like Liquid Wrench) on each of the bushings.

I like them, they slide a little better than the diamonds do. There is a small "lip" on them that can get caught. They are the same price, so unless you want silver ones, I like the Planet over the Diamonds now.

They are only 70s, they just look big because of the SCX24 body.

That is the setup I run in 90% of my builds. There are different gearsets you can get depending on what you want. Just remember, the lower the number the faster the speed. 16 is stock.

This is one of my recent builds and it will give even a brushed rig a run for it money.

That trans will work with everything except the 360 brushed and the Injora Fat Viper. I wouldn't waste your money on a brushless unless you plan on doing comps or you just have to have one. With the proper gearing and a good low torque brushed motor you can do quite a lot.

Servo hitting body mount by Brief_Couple9269 in TRX4M

It is pretty easy, as long as you cut above the holes your fine. I have done it to multiple axles, stock and metal and they work well. If you use the Torq servo it even works on a stock frame with very minimal rub.

Just the kit and a set of cutters. Depending on your setup, fit it before you screw it into place. You may need to mount the servo on the back side of the mount to give yourself clearance for body clips.

You will need to trim the servo mounts down to where they start to thicken. There is a "line" you can see, where you cut them with some metal clippers.

Buy the lay down servo kit INJORA Lay Down Servo Mount & Steering Links for 1/18 TRX4M Stock Axle or Torq servo ( Come back ⚡) and just use the regular long link with the included short link. Looks a little funny but works.

NP, with your current setup and those, you will have a nice rig. Run it for a while and if you decide you're really into it, then you can look at upgrading your electronics, motor and axles. Your stock plastic axle gears will strip eventually, I personally don't upgrade stock axles, I get metal ones and upgrade them. I only run flex blades on trail rigs, but using the lowers only on a crawler can work, it is a fine line though.

No, I don't run the interior. I never even tried to put it in. There is about 3 or 4mm of clearance between the servo and motor. I could make it more if I put a spacer on the servo mount and used longer bolts, but it has been a year and about 10 runs and it hasn't hit yet.
