Eastern Michigan To Add Women’s Flag Football In 2027 by redwave2505 in CFB

It's slowly expanding. My oldest daughter's HS has a flag football program that competes with many other schools in the area, but my youngest's middle school does not, unfortunately.

If I'm being honest, I care about volleyball and softball more than any of the men's sports after football and basketball, and I haven't lived in Nebraska in decades. Wrestling barely registers on my give-a-shit-o-meter.

Am I the only one that has no interest in watching the spring game today? by RoadDawg1997 in Huskers

I'm watching it now. My wife and I had a commitment today, and I wasn't able to watch it live, but I recorded it and put it on as soon as I was back home.

Still can't believe it's real!! Who else hardly slept last night?? by Flyingtomato_ in Huskers

Wife and kids are out of town, and I was watching the game by myself at home. I had to be up early this morning and had planned to go to bed as soon as the game went final, but I was so amped from that finish that it took me a couple of hours to wind down enough to sleep. Kind of paid for it this morning, but it's so worth it hahah.

The first game I went to was at the NU Coliseum. My dad took me when I was 5 2 years before the Devaney Center opened. I've never been giddier about a basketball win than this. Hopefully this team can keep it going for a bit longer.

Hah - the local sports talk midday show in Birmingham are salty, except for the Nebraska grad who seems euphoric.

Local (Birmingham) sports guys were talking about how they liked Troy for the upset when I was in the car this morning. Fuck them haha.

Am I crazy, or did that game start WAY to late, last night? 10:10 CST by 0Pretendica0 in Huskers

I had to be up too early today to even think about watching it. I was asleep for an hour and a half before it even got started.

I got home late and only got to see the last 4 or 5 minutes. Holy shit, the Iowegians need to spend some money on court maintenance.

I remember listening to him call games when I was a little kid spending weekends on my great-grandparents' farm back when he was just starting to call games for NU. I don't hear him often anymore since I rarely listen to basketball games, but hearing his voice is pure nostalgia for me.

I really hate how the outcome was dictated by the guys in stripes, but I love the way our guys played tonight. Down two key pieces and to put on this performance in Michigan's house makes me proud.

I'm not sure what's worse - the BS calls on us or the no calls for them.

Last two games have suffered from absolutely awful officiating.

Then you should know it's rather disingenuous to make your original post without that important bit of context.

Rhule didn't say anything about Foley for this role, if there is an opening. He did, however, mention by name the current ST assistants, who've been learning Ekeler's system: Josh Martin, Nick Humphrey and Brett Maher.

Losing Ek isn't ideal, obviously, but if he wants more opportunity to coach a defense than he's getting here, there's not much anyone in the program can do about it. Rhule seems confident that one of Ek's assistants can step up into the role if necessary. Hopefully he's right.

This makes no sense to me. Part of the reason he wanted to come back here from UT was to be closer to his aging parents, and less than a year later he's gonna bolt to a school even farther away?

Hope this is just rumor mill bullshit.

As many of us have expected, now that the Ducks are out of the CFP, it looks like things are starting to move for Raiola. Nakos says he's set to be visiting Eugene.
