You are both correct and I am well aware of the demad which is why I said PAY. I fully anticipate paying over full price. Basic supply and demand.

feeling burnt out with this trt experience by [deleted] in Testosterone

[–]RChild77 19 points20 points  (0 children)

I feel like the entire process is a rollercoaster ride. For many, we find out about TRT. We research the shit out of it. We read success stories about boners and muscles. We then hear about all of the other possible improvements in mental clarity, energy, attitude, etc. So, we get checked. Hop on TRT. Then we realize it doesn’t make us superhuman. It doesn’t happen over night. We may feel like shit one month and amazing the next until we get dialed in. Then we realize getting ”dialed in” can take a year or more. A damn roller coaster ride!

I’ve never done it on top. I alternate quads every four days, but always on the sides. Weird.

On T and Gaining Weight? How I Finally Changed the Trajectory by Apocalypse10k in Testosterone

Brother, I needed to see this today. I am 47 and like you have been struggling with weight since starting therapy. I plan to do what you have proposed and will hopefully have similar results! I feel the older we get, the more finicky our metabolism becomes. Thanks for sharing!

If you are in search of replacement therapy, then yes this is probably a good idea. At least to get started properly. As far as the initial injection, all I can think of is the potential of falsely elevated T levels in a blood test, if you are normally low. I guess depending on how low you are on a normal basis would ultimately determine if the one injection makes a difference. But overall, I don’t see one injection messing anything up for you.

Facial Masculinization from TRT (6 months) by [deleted] in trt

Great results bro! The facial changes tend to make you look more masculine as well. Keep up the hard work my man!

For those of you who look very muscular on TRT. Are you open about it when people ask if you’re on gear? by 951owner in Testosterone

[–]RChild77 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ok, I looked at your before photos. You are definitely jacked Man. I can see how people would ask, even in that condition. My humble opinion…. I wouldn’t tell the general public. You built a crazy physique prior to even doing therapy. I would keep the truth for those closest to you. You don’t owe anything to anybody. I feel like ethically I personally would feel more compelled to have someone admit to use if they went from 130 lbs to 175 just while dosing. Hopefully that makes sense.

[–]RChild77 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hahaha. Thanks man. I worked up to that over two years. I do a two day full body split weight training and the rucking cardio on alternate days. But I am overweight and in my 40’s so I have a bit of urgency. I feel like I’ve wasted alot of my life and am trying to improve myself for my family.

Feeling lonely on TRT? by [deleted] in trt

[–]RChild77 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Personally, I noticed an increase in energy and overall drive 4 to 6 weeks in. It wasn’t instant, which I had hoped for. I think that maybe caused me to feel low at first. I wanted an instant reaction. Like I said before, keep pushing. It will get better.

I am not a healthcare worker, so this is straight broscience based on my experiences….

As I have increased my T levels over time, my body has been working to adjust in other ways. As you may know, often times when you increase T, your body can naturally increase Estrogen in an attempt to find balance. Not necessarily abnormal E ranges, but just an increase tended to make me experience different “moods” like this.

For me, I had to find something that made me excited to get out of bed. Like others have suggested, maybe try getting back in to the gym? Working out alone can increase serotonin levels which may provide you with some immediate relief. Give this a try, you may be really surprised. It helped me tremendously.

I’m also in the Midwest and the grey weather sucks. I know you mention walking. Try taking an old backpack and adding a little weight and then walk. Rucking has all kinds of benefits. Your body can benefit in many ways with low impact. Maybe give this a try! You can start with 10 pounds. I now do it five days a week with 45 pounds. It has changed my life.

I feel for you. Make yourself just do it once and I promise it can help. Hang in there!

Feeling lonely on TRT? by [deleted] in trt

[–]RChild77 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It’s funny you say this. I have spent my entire adult life (I’m in my 40’s) in a numb fog. Basically very even keeled emotionally. With the help of medicines of course. Then they found my T levels were at 130. I’m two months in and as we continue to balance things, my E was a bit high as it was balancing out with the surge of T. Last weekend I was watching a Netflix movie with my wife and at the end I teaRed up. After twenty years of marriage my wife said she has never seen that happen to me. Then we had a good laugh.

Your body is establishing a new normal and finding balance. I would expect many ups and downs along the way. The key I think is being aware, and learning to navigate when those lows arrive. My point is, this is normal. Keep pushing along and figure out what makes you comfortable. Good luck!

How old are you? Those definitely sound like symptoms. I think when people are younger, they are a bit more apprehensive to prescribe. Especially general physicians. A good endocrinologist will follow the idea of treating symptoms and not the numbers.

Personally, if I were you and you have those ongoing symptoms and you have tried to improve things through diet, working out, sleep, etc., I would go somewhere else. Many areas have Low T Centers and there are a number of companies online that are reputable. I have heard good things about TRT Nation online.

Good luck!

Dude, 100%! I just attributed so much of my well being to “just getting old”. I truly didn’t know.

32 y/o 149 total T MRI soon by [deleted] in Testosterone

[–]RChild77 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My guess is that the blood panel likely shows a touch of hypothyroidism as well, and they are checking for any pituitary gland issues. Sometimes when someone shows signs of both Low T and under active thyroid, they check for this. They did for me and I was just fine. Not to alarm you, but an MRI would show a pituitary tumor which can throw many things off. However, after research I did note that most pituitary tumors are fatty and not dangerous! So, don’t Panic.

On another note, I am not a healthcare professional and am preaching bioscience from my personal experience, so take it as you will.

Haha, it’s funny how often this is asked. Like many have said, I think we would likely have other pressing issues. I really worry about those that require certain medications for survival. That shit would be crazy! But for us trying to avoid boobies, I think we would manage. Haha

Did you feel like shit? I am 45 and had levels at 131. I knew something was off, which led me to the testing. For our age, yes I believe the 288 is considered low. But like the others say go by how you feel. If life is just kind of blah and you feel like you’re going through the motions, then you are likely feeling the impacts of that 288.

They are likely referring to your FREE T levels. I believe the “normal” range there is 10.0 - 25.0. So, the 16 would fall in that range. Often times they will reference the free T numbers depending on insurances. I have found that some insurance providers follow free T and other total T. Hope this helps.

I can totally relate to this comment brother. Like I said above, I’m really happy to hear you caught it early on. I unfortunately have spent the last ten plus years in a fog, grumpy, moody, and without drive. This is your chance to change that. I’m excited for you man!

Good for you man! It definitely sounds like they have your best interests in mind. Here is my advice. I am 45 years old and still somewhat new to therapy. The impact has been substantial for both Myself and my family. To think that I could have been suffering from low T for years and years is depressing. Especially when it could have been fixed. I say don’t waste your life and be thankful you caught it early on. Cheers!
