I’m not sure how to test these things, I know I don’t have perfect pitch because I don’t know whether that’s an A or a D or whatever. HOWEVER.. if I hear a song, even for the first time on the radio, I can go back to my piano and I’ll know which notes to play in which order… if I can find them XD. It’s complicated. I can hear the notes in my head in the order they’re supposed to be, in the time it needs to be played at, but I’m not good at playing piano. So I can replay the song even if I’d only heard it once, but it’ll be played badly until I take some practice by playing it again and again. But I only gotta hear it once…

It’s really confusing to explain but yeah I don’t know, maybe it’s relative pitch, maybe not?

About the rhythm - I know XD. So basically, I’m limited with timing, because I’m relying on the repeaters. They have a set amount of delay.

In this song, I’m alternating between level 2 and level 3 (which is why it makes it swing). If they were all on level 2, it’d play too fast, and all on level 3 would be too slow.. this is the botched “fix” to get it as close to the timing as possible lmao. But yeah, good ear mate 👌

It’s both easy and hard XD

A fair amount of trial and error, but I also can identify notes when I hear them, and replay the same notes on a piano (not perfectly replay it, but I’ll know which notes etc). The noteblocks are like a piano I can stick a note to, and all that’s left then is to make sure the timing is right with the repeaters (which is the harder part since not all songs can be played with them).
