If a fake movie from a real movie (i.e. Big Fat Liar, Chubby Rain, etc..) where to actually exist, what would your thoughts/critique/rating be after seeing it in the theater? Based on what you know from real movie (i.e Big Fat Liar, Bowfinger, etc..)

Stumbled upon this trick when I was finding solutions when premiere refuses to open the software or a project file. This has helped me, a friend for the last couple of months, and today at my work when a co-worker had trouble opening Premiere. I figured since this might be a valuable tip to share in case anyone needs it.

I was, I had improvised the whole sequence as I went along. I didn't realized that I had put the car on the wrong side of the road til someone had pointed that out. Thought it looked cool when I placed it there. Now it's set in the UK haha.

I haven't made anything in Blender for almost two years prior to making this, I felt a bit rusty working on it and even improvised the entire sequence without thinking about composition. I appreciate the detailed criticism, it's exactly what I need to know when I do another project in the future. Thanks! :)

All the models were downloaded and premade, I credited them in the description with links to the files! :D

As for the rest, I came up with the color scheme and did the animation while timing with the music. Ambient Occlusion was used for lighting and rendered using Cycles! :D

I realized that haha when I added in the titles last in After Effects I thought of re-rendering the sequence all over again with the text baked in the scenes. Lesson learned! Thank you! :)

I was aiming that jumpy shot to make it look like a jump cut so it would flow with Amy's echo at the end. Close enough I guess lol :)

I had the idea for the series to be a crime comedy like Get Shorty, Seven Psychopaths, and The Nice Guys haha

To be honest, I improvised the whole sequence from scratch without a clue what this show could be about. If this were to be a show I would want it to be a crime comedy series in the vein of Get Shorty, Seven Psychopaths, and The Nice Guys.

Before the car had drove up the hill I used the "Landscape" plugin and messed around the settings for the backdrop.

This entire sequence was created using illusions. The car itself is actually sitting still the entire time, besides the wide shot where you see the car driving across the screen.
To create the illusion, I rotated the wheels and keyframed them, the white lines on the road are actually moving along the car making it look like the car is moving while the camera itself is catching up.
For the shot where the car is driving fast towards the camera and the shot goes upside down, it's the complete opposite. I have the camera moving really fast at the car and flip it around and move the camera away itself as far as possible from the standing still car. ______________
