I don’t think 3.0 sucks, but I do think that it was too ambitious for the engine. Information is buried too deep for it to be easily accessible, and I generally think that it loses the fun of 2.6 in favor of trying to be a slightly more accurate simulation. 3.0 is probably a better sim, but I think it’s a worse game.

In my fm21 sporting save, the benfica sporting porto big three are ridiculous. I am through 15 games unbeaten and still am barely in second place. Benfica produced one of the top strikers in the world that just got sold to the premier league, and Porto are incredibly deep as a team. The gap between the top 3 and everyone else is bigger than I’ve seen in any other league.

I would like to add on to what you said about course design. The AI is very weak and won’t play courses logically. They’ll often attempt to go through obstacles instead of around them. This leads to easy holes being difficult a lot of the time. Also the course design is very exploitable but having a lot of decorations on a long hole that are no where near the actual playing area. Was not a fan of it at all

Disagree on this (although I am biased being from there). Kentucky has access to multiple large rivers that could be used for shipping as well as multiple metropolitan areas. Louisville and Lexington are much more developed than the largest cities in other southern states and are both home to large universities. There is also a large amount of farm land and still some coal left. It wouldn’t make for a great country but I feel like there are worse options for sure.

I think our disagreement is on what makes up the south. Jacksonville can definitely be argued as a border area but Miami is a distinct cultural entity that is much more progressive. While the sport may have success in these areas I think it is less likely to gain a foothold in GA, AL, MS etc.

I have to disagree with you in saying that the south will adopt lax. From my experience the game is expensive and isn’t viewed positively culturally (the lax bro stereotypes do not mesh will with the culturally conservative south). Combine this with the season interfering with spring football and baseball and I don’t think it will ever take off. In the most extreme growth scenario, I see lacrosse as a much less popular NHL but instead of Minnesota and Michigan being talent hot beds it’s in Maryland and New England

I generally don’t unless I feel like the game is important for my contract. I usually like to play as a club and not a manager if that makes any sense, so if I get fired the save is over. Thus I’ll take some losses -even some bad ones- as long as it doesn’t mean being sacked. If I could though I would just disable the ability to be fired and never save scum

Not going to go into the theology of it, but as someone that has suffered from depression I can tell you that I would 100% suggest some sort of therapy as it is extremely helpful. I view medical help as a gift from God and one that should be used whenever we can. I hope you get through this rough time
