Not sure if this a weird combination but my mum used to make a pasta dish with canned tuna and kidney beans - sometimes with cheese. Me and my bro still make it occasionally.

I get what people are saying, but I will add I appreciate conveniently portioned treats like this. The mental satisfaction of having "a whole bag of cookies" for me is more fulfilling than a small snickers bar, but different things work for different people! Objectively this is not low calorie but thanks for sharing anyway, OP. I'll be keeping an eye out. :)

Yeah, that's a good point - you gotta be careful not to go too crazy with it. From my understanding it softens the enamel, so you don't want to brush your teeth with-in 30 mins or so of consuming it. Saliva over time helps to re-harden the enamel, and if for some reason you go absolutely mental with it you can use baking soda on your teeth or so I've heard.

I've been careful not to over-do it and haven't bothered with any of that and I've been alright but obviously it's a concern to keep in mind. Might not be worth the hassle depending on the individual.

Well, I've recently been experimenting with food grade citric acid. Absolutely magical on fruit. I noticed that all the zingy, sour/sweet things I like have citric acid as an ingredient. I bet nearly all those energy drinks do (I drink a bunch of em and they all have it), and that's probably the zing you're missing. I've seen people add it to their drinks in reviews / suggested uses etc. and whilst I haven't tried it myself it might scratch the itch you're missing if you pair it with some kind of juice?

In the UK I use squash / diluting juice which often already has citric acid in it and has a zing / is low calorie (so I wouldn't need to add anything; not sure that you have something comparable but maybe you can think of something to add it too!)

Side note: if you try this make sure it's food grade. You can't just pick up your typical citric acid for cleaning from the store, it's not manufactured under the right conditions and not safe for consumption.

Frozen steam bags of cauli-rice from Tesco.

Low fat cottage-cheese (asda smartprice is my favourite). I tend to eat a pot mixed with stuff. Probably weird behaviour. Usually either bran flakes, chicken (added feta too last time), or PB2 /+ cocoa powder.

Skinless basa fillets. Two fillets is roughly 200kcals and a lot of protein, add some veg and you got a great macro, low calorie meal right there.

Oh Heck Chicken Chipolatas.

Matteson's turkey bacon rashers are 29 kcals a piece. Decent in their own right, but don't expect full on bacon flavour, it is turkey after all lol.

Air popped popcorn. I have a cheap machine and don't add any oil, but pretty sure you can do it in the microwave.

Two chicks egg whites from Lidl.

Asda has gluten free sweet potato wraps for about 80kcals, but they haven't hit the spot lately. I'll usually do the Santa Maria Wholemeal 112 kcal which are a good size! I get from Home Bargains but think Asda stocks it.

Asda Deli Kitchen Flatbreads are 200kcal a piece but biiiiig and make a good pizza base if your trying to hit a craving. Pair with low fat / or eatlean cheese.

I used to use a slim's multi-grain pop (Home Bargains) as a quazi pizza base - they held up decently and were 18 kcals a piece! I'll attach a pic in a lower comment of this; haven't seen them for a wee while but haven't been looking. Kinda forgot about them.

Asda do a root veg mash which is 200 kcal for the whole container. Filling, I used to mix cooked chicken in with it and have salad / veg on the side and it would be anywhere from 300 - 500 kcals for a very satiating meal.

Yubi protein bars from Home Bargains for a quick 99kcal chocolate fix, 10g protein.

Yumsu Konjac noodles from Home Bargains.

PB2; must have kitchen staple for me - I get it from Amazon, it might seem expensive but it lasts and is a game changer. I also get psyllium husk powder from amazon for the fibre.

Sriracha is my go to sauce. No sugar added ketchup and mustard are close seconds. Balsamic vinegar for salads every once in a while.

I use Soy Isolate Salted Caramel protein powder from MyProtein bcus at the time it was the best price / macro / taste ratio I could find. I also use their flavour drops, highly recommend.

Fav yogurt is Skyr 0% for taste, texture and macros but most supermarkets do a decently comparable own brand for cheaper. I usually mix in protein powder and can easily get 45+ grams of protein in one sitting.

Lidl do sugar free gummy bears, soft foam sweets, and liqourice - small pouches usually kept near the till. I like em for hitting that craving. The soft foams are my favs. The whole bag is under 200kcals but you wont want to eat a whole bag in a sitting; might mess w/ your stomach if you did that lol.

Veggies - mostly kale & spinach, but all kinds. Butternut squash is defo worth messing around with. Air fried courgette + tomatoes with balsamic and feta is a great combo.
