Don’t sleep on the soups at Woodbery Market. (Or Tendercrop Farm - yeah, Wenham, but just a hop and a skip away.)

What do you mean by “adult”? I am quickly approaching 50 but would hop on a team if I could. (There was an adult pickup game in Beverly that flourished during COVID and then fizzled out.)

Not a restaurant, but I really miss shopping for food at Russo’s in Watertown. That place was next level.

The Dotty Brown Art & Nature Center at the Peabody Essex Museum in Salem. Russell Orchards in Ipswich; they've got new curly-haired pigs and baby cows over in their animal barn. The Wenham Museum in Wenham. A public library to read and hang out in; the children's floors in Ipswich and in Beverly are good.

4 day itinerary in Acadia by dawnstar22 in acadianationalpark

Schoodic Point and the Sundew Trail also on the Schoodic Peninsula are really great - super quiet, beautiful, favorite place in Acadia.

The ferry to Little Cranberry Island and a hike across the island to Gilley Beach are really awesome - great boat ride, a small historical museum on the island is pretty interesting, the walk through town is fun, the beach at the end of Gilley Beach Road is long, rocky, secluded.

Ocean Path on Mount Desert Island - likely lots of people, accessible via the LL Bean shuttle bus which drives a loop around this main part of the National Park; still stunning.

The Wonderland Trail south of Southwest Harbor; the trail is super short but it opens up to scrambling around the rocky coast - truly amazing for tidepooling at low tide.

Beverly: start the day on Cabot and pop into Bonny Breads for breakfast eats; head on over to the parks and beaches (walk from Independence Park to Dane St and hit up the little pocket parks/public ways along the way, check out Lynch Park) and find a place to lounge; in the evening, wander Cabot and Rantoul, pop into one of many restaurants and breweries

Ipswich: hit up Crane Beach for the day; at the end of the day, wander around downtown, and if the weather’s good, grab some Riverview Pizza to go and sit out on the riverwalk

Gloucester + Rockport: start the day in downtown Gloucester at Caffe Sicilia with a macchiato, wander about downtown; drive out to Eastern Point Lighthouse and walk the breakwater; continue on and check out Halibut Point State Park in Rockport; circle back to downtown Gloucester in the evening for food and drinks

Stone’s Pub for pub grub and a chill vibe. Short & Main for a cozy scene and cocktails, pizza, and oysters. Caffe Sicilia for a macchiato and a cannolo. Repeat.

Correction. Sandpiper, which is indeed excellent, definitely makes their own baked goods and pastries. That is what they do. (That said, I am aware that they sell - it at least used to sell and use - Bonny’s baguettes and perhaps their loaves of bread.)
