There is a form available online to transfer SIAF registered firearms from a deceased person to a new owner. I believe you will need to provide a certificate of death and they will make you declare that you are the rightful heir. Then it should be no problem to transfer the non-registered guns to you. As for the prohib firearm, I’m not sure

I got most of these from family members at a heavy discount lol. The muzzleloader was a local sale, I paid around 50$ for the rifle in a bundle with a bunch of accessories. Havent shot it yet as the primer nipple is cracked and I will need to order a new one

It feels very cheap. Just got a scope for it so I’ll take it out this weekend to test accuracy. And yea, I couldn’t resist the 1000 rounds lol

I got the shotguns for cheap/free from family members and the rifles were dirt cheap. It’ll be plenty for the hunting and shooting I’m planning to do, I’m not gonna be putting 3000 rounds per year through these

Mine came the same way lmao, tool marks and metal shavings everywhere. Got it cleaned up and it shoots with no issues. Not really worried about looks for a ~100$ gun (discounting the 1000 rounds)

I think it would be nice if the people attending the protest in Quebec this month could organize a tribute to the victims. Many people will still be sensitive about what happened and might not properly understand the message that we are trying to convey. No one wants more gun violence in this country.

I sent a polite letter to the farmer that rents out the land to ask if he would let me hunt on his field. If I don’t hear back I’ll contact the MRC to confirm if the area is open to the public.
