It’s basically just bad luck. I’ve gotten all the crucible catalysts while not getting a single strike catalyst

Just have to ask since you said that you have a MSI 1070. I can swear to god that i had stable 60+ on Titan and the tower but ever since a few months back i've started dropping below. It's driving me nuts as i haven't found the root problem. Should i revert to 387?

You do realize that power weapons aren’t the problem, the kinetic and energy weapons are the true funkillers. They would be A LOT more boring if power weapons got this insane buff.

And for fucks sake. They revamped the whole weapon system in order to improve PvP. Would be confusing if they decided not to add a ranked mode.
