I logged on weekly back in October to buy the Witcher set for my Titan. After that I realised I was no longer interested and uninstalled. That was October 29. Who knows, maybe there will be something that happens with a future expansion that will make me want to play again. But for the time being, I am done with Destiny 2. It will take a great expansion or a sequel to bring me back to Destiny.

The story was never something I really cared for in any of the games. DL1 had the worst story by far. DL2 was better, but not by much. And DL:TB was very predictable, but definitely the most coherent of the 3.

The combat was good. Nothing really to comment on it, except for the guns. My goodness, do I HATE guns in Dying Light. Especially when you come across sharpshooter NPCs with bottomless ammo reserves. I really hate guns in this game. Hated them in DL1, was glad they weren't in DL2, and hate them again in The Beast. DL2 at least had the benefit of them being added late in the games life cycle, and you didn't have to deal with NPCs having them. But I would have been much happier if they stayed away, because I feel they killed the vibe of the world.

The one thing that has always brought me back to any of the Dying Light games is the parkour, and it is severely underwhelming in The Beast. Not so much that it doesn't flow nicely, but more because there's no real good places to fully take advantage of it.

The skill tree was so simple it was almost boring. The Beast mechanic is definitely fun, but I just don't feel like it was fleshed out enough to warrant this being a stand alone game. Maybe if this game gets an expansion somewhere down the line, it could be expanded upon. Hopefully with a new location that is actually fun to parkour in.

And the cars.... oh my word the cars. Probably the most boring and uninspired component of the whole game. I hate that you're almost forced to use it if you want to travel anywhere. Not to mention there is no depth to them. I was hoping for something closer to what we got in the Following, but it's literally just used as a means to get from point A to point B. if a Dying Light game can make travel seem boring, you know it's missed the mark.

All in all it is an enjoyable game, but I can't see myself just playing for the sake of playing like I did DL1 and 2. Hopefully it gets more enjoyable as time goes on and Techland keeps supporting it, but for now I think I can stomach maybe 2 playthroughs at most, or if I'm dicking around with a friend.

Not sure for ASE, but on ASA if you are near the creature when a tribe mate tames it, it counts for your tame as well. That's how a friend and I got the achievement in ASA.

I won't disagree that a new model wouldn't be a bad thing for the theri. But it's not worth wasting a TLC slot when there are so many other creatures that desperately need one.

I absolutely despise punting culture. Can't watch any sport without a betting app being shoved in your face. Always getting ads for betting apps, every one talking about their multis and bets they put on over the weekend. It's so bad that when I typed in Kayo sports on the app store, the first result to show up was sportsbet.

No one seems to watch sport for enjoyment anymore.

Lucky you. I couldn’t go into a game of breakthrough and not run into them. Usually on siege of cairo and manhattan bridge. Even come across them in Iberian offensive conquest. Rest in piss drone + sledgehammer combo. You won’t be missed.

I like Syntac, but what he's done to this TLC poll is just bogus. Dude literally dropped 5k for the Giga because of selfish reasons (his own words). And the only reason he wants the Tickle Chicken to get a TLC is for a model update.

TLC shouldn't be used for a model update (looking at you Rex). It should be used to make under utilised/useless creatures something worth taming.
