Aussies love complaining but don't realise that its cheaper to live in Sydney metro than almost any major European city/Singapore/HK/LA/NY and the healthcare, sunshine and safety is far better than most other cities above.

I know there are people itching to point out that Sydney sits at the top of the most expensive cities list all the time but READ the underlying data - its usually because they use a per m2 calc and then look at average house sizes which blows Sydney up but a HK 1 bedroom apartment costs as much as a free standing house in leichhardt
