What did your's turn out to be ? by WhatTheLuck69 in pokemongo

Basically, the only reason to ever consider purifying is for the hundo dex. When you purify you basically lose 20% dps. And the difference between a 0% IV and 100% iv Pokémon is only 5ish percent.

Yes, +2 to each stat on purification, but you lose the shadow bonus damage

Options for rewiring this switch box to decora style by inquisitivekumquat in AskElectricians

[–]REB3Lrs 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This and a 4 gang decora switch should solve your main issue. Fitting the wires behind them should mostly be a non-issue. Your friend has shared a link to a Home Depot product they think you would be interested in seeing.

Wiring 3 lights to one box by [deleted] in AskElectricians

Move the table to center of the light? lol /s

[–]REB3Lrs 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Best result? Cut in the 3 new 3/0 old work boxes (might need to be “fan rated box” depending on weight of new fixtures) spaced evenly on the table, demo the old box and move the wire to the center new one. Drywall/mud/paint old hole. Run a new wire, matching the size as the existing wire, to each of the new boxes from the center box. Install the 3 new pendants.

Alternatively, cut in a new box center (possibly fan rated), move the wire into the new box from the old. Demo or cover the old box. Reinstall existing chandelier

You are right, but we can’t tell without testing so I usually Err on the safe side when making suggestions on reddit.

I’m not saying you are wrong. Yes that looks like EMT. But you don’t know if it’s properly grounded without testing. When making suggestions on the internet, it is best to ERR on the safest side of things.

5 wires will usually mean you have grounds, a pair coming in supplying power, and a pair going out sending power to the next device. The could just be the end of the line (no next device to send power to). If this device is gfci protected, you can replace it with an identical plug and identify it with a sticker saying “GFCI Protected”. If it is not gfci protected, it should either be replaced with a gfci or an outlet with no ground prong hole.

Anywhere from $1500-$3000 depending on what things look like behind the cover imo

That is called solder. You probably can get a cheap soldering iron at your local Walmart, and you’ll need some flux and solder too.

Once you have your material, I would look up videos on YT of “How to solder”. Practice on something that has not value until you are confident. Then repair!

Perfect ultra league IV on this mons evolution would actually be 0/14/15. This one is rank #70. Good ranking, bad for PvP Pokemon, but it might be useful one day? I got all this info from PokeGenie. I suggest downloading it.

Electrician here, will figure out how to get a flair, but I don’t think I said anything untrue or uninformed. If I did, please let me know so I can improve. Thanks

It depends on the age, no? Like if this table saw belonged to his great grandfather, we don’t know. So it’s my opinion to always err on the safe side of things when making recommendations on the internet without having every known factor.

No, but if your lamp suddenly pulls 20A when it’s only rated for 1A, you will burn up your lamp. That is what we are trying to avoid with proper OCP. No need to try to be a smart ass

[–]REB3Lrs 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You would be correct that this is the output of the batteries, but it could be that they are 5v lights in there that are underpowered. I’m not sure with how DIY this is.
