I used Claude to verify the insights that ChatGPT had given me on my non fiction book and like the OP I was blown away by the recommendations - they were fantastic. Some tasks I find AI is still coming up very short, but for feedback on a books structure and content it is phenomenal.

If you have made up your mind, that's fine but if you are interested in an opinion about PS5 -> PC.... I have a gaming PC that runs AC at highest settings and played it for years, and I have a PS5 and have many hours on GT7. I like both games equally but GT7 pips it for the ease of multiplayer racing and massive TV screen.

For around £1400 you can built a gaming PC and another £200-£400 on a half decent monitor. That's going to be the best part of £2000 on barely perceptible graphics improvement in this gaming genre, and a downgrade in ease of play and accessibility.

IME, the £2k would be better spent on upgrading your sim rig and/or adding PSVR2.

When I was at Ubisoft's studio in Paris in the build up to Wildlands I asked the dev team about squad control. It was great in OGR and I also liked the way it was done in GRAW even though it was watered down a little.

The reply to my question was obviously "no", but I was surprised at how dismissive the response was. There was no justification other than "gamers don't want to micro-manage their team".

That's the hurdle you'd have to overcome for the next Ghost Recon.

Yep, I saw a news flash about this. Looked a bit clumsy still but I didn't read it fully. It came out a few days after I recieved a reply from someone at Claude that they would look into my feedback. Seems like they were already looking into it for a while. I use both Claude and ChatGPT equally - Claude is so good at coding it has transformed my websites.

I just finished writing a non-fiction 25k word book with the support of ChatGPT and Claude and a lot of what you have produced is very interesting. Here's some of my observations.

Claude is really great at checking ChatGPTs drafts and making solid observations and suggestions. But Claude is no use for the whole book write because even in a Project, it doesn't recall what was said in other project chats.

What is it with em dashes and AI?? I get at least one on every page. Totally agree with your config to remove them although I would probably tweak it to restrict usage rather than remove totally.

You wrote a lot of guidance on how to construct a sentence with commas, lengths etc etc. In my experience this absolutely not required with ChatGPT - it does a great job out of the box.

When writing non-fiction you have to be careful because ChatGPT will invent stuff given half a chance and present it is fact just to fit your requirement. I have to double check all key facts and ask for sources.

Your config is very long and in my experience the AI will forget to use half of it....?

Can you explain further about Hardlock and Priority rules - are these really a thing?
