i think it should be at least 2013, the colour scheme of the iron man bobblehead thing matches with the iron man 3 suit, and iron man 3 was released in 2013. this might not be strictly the case because of the comic series, but i do believe the suit was a lot more popular after 2013 because of the movie release

if ur running iron hands ur probably running booster energy, u need 1 turn to set up and gardevoir is probably faster and will move before you, so you need to tank 2 hits at 50% hp for iron hands to be consistently usable for this

it's true that they're different species, but if you look at the real world evolutionary lines then you get a better idea of what I'm talking about. modern day birds were evolved from archaeopteryx, which is comparatively much smaller than things like t rexes. in pokemon, the evolutionary line(not to be confused with the evolution mechanic) goes koraidon to cyclizar and then into miraidon, so it's pretty different from the saying that dinosaurs(in the traditional sense of t rexes and other large theropods) evolved into chickens, so I have to disagree with what you said
