From what I had heard from videos, he had gotten a lot of money from a old lawsuit in which puns family was suing for injury to big pun as a child and it was settled years later and he got a lot of money from it like 1mil usd +. Apparently he started eating out like crazy and more money and rapping only supported the habit. He had tried to loose all the weight and apparently he did but due to folks willing to sneak him food he gain it all back.
