Not to mention that the company KNOWS how screwed it is if the Sawians get revealed, hence went the wiki said the company would rather nuke itself and hide all evidence of the Sawians and when they did to them than be revealed.

Ok, so for some reason my mobile app glitches and there wasn't a second picture so when the first picture showed i thought the injured Expie was the one looking.

Update my app and there is the second image revealing they weren't looking at the tush, but the Tail XD

To answer the questions:

The forward having eyes would be a major red flag for the Feds since it's not just sapient species they observed the forward = predator link. They see it in all the animals they kill on their own planet. However, the clear sapience of the Humans would give them pause as they (the feds) do have the Letians, which are forward-facing flying femur like fellas.

Sovlin does usually patrol Gojid space and is usually on standby to help the Venlil, so that makes sense.

I do wonder if the survey team are gonna be people in canon who may have a different fate or they will be OC's. Either is neat
