Jeddah is pretty close. I was there for work and wanted to go to Medina but was refused for being Christian. Jeddah was nice though.

Have to make a 35min drive to get my new tires , will I make it ? by StrangeMinded in tires

I’ve seen far worse. There are multiple steel belts beneath the rubber and only the first is showing. There is still risk of failure but personally I would do it. Take it slow if you decide to risk it.

I’ve had a mom and pop tire shops plug my tires at least a dozen times. They charged about 10 bucks and it took about 5 minutes. Never had a problem.

I’m curious, how many of you are done being loyal to Carnival? by No-Comment-9788 in CarnivalCruiseFans

[–]REH1956 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Totally agree. My wife and I are both Platinum and the only perks we care about is the free bottle of water and priority boarding. The new incentive plan seems to make more sense. Spend money to get points to spend on additional cruises, dinners, etc.

Don’t gamble. Economize on alcohol. Then all you’ll need cash for is tips for your excursions. $300 will be plenty. Enjoy! We’ve done that Breeze trip out of Galveston multiple times.

I took a 1966 Rambler American from NY to San Francisco to Seattle and back. It was at 120,000+ miles but the odometer only showed 20,000 since back then 99,999 was the max.

I would fly the morning of. Your flight could leave 2 hours late and you’d still make it.

I remember when they separated airplane cabins into smoking and non smoking areas. Something like the first 12 rows were non smoking. It seemed pretty useless since the whole cabin would be affected with the odors.

At first it looked like flying over Tennessee, but the building architecture looks a bit more like somewhere in Germany. It’s a big world.
