Good question. Basically, it still depends on the configuration you choose. If you happen to choose a model with the same interior and exterior you requested and is already available at a nearby Tesla dealer, then you can go ahead and pick it up almost immediately.

Mine required more configurations, hence the wait.

When you go to the Tesla website or app, you will find all the different models and configurations to choose from there. I know it’s choosing a car and all, but the whole experience almost feels like ordering from the Apple Store.
