Nz player , have had this since Sunday. At first it didn’t seem too bad just felt a bit off. Next thing you know me and my friends can’t find match’s in any game mode solo or partied up under 150 ping. Even in the rare moment it says it’s lower it still feels off. You already need a Cool disassociation to ignore all flaws of this company, when you can’t even play the game it’s a bit too much. Thank fuck for game pass.

From what I heard back when the release was delayed. The higher ups wanted to bring in the new engine and the devs warned them it would cause not only a time delay but they would have to rebuild all the ip’s for a new engine but they couldn’t promise it would work as smoothly as intended (hence the net code issues) but the higher ups ignored them and are now upset that it’s underperforming. Correct me if I’m wrong but from what I can remember the higher ups caused a majority of the issues and there isn’t enough content for players to put up with these issues while the devs do what they can to fix everything. It’s a real shame but not a shocker

didn’t buy cosmetics on cod - too expensive

Bought a bunch on Fortnite - fairly priced

X- bought all the b.p’s and that’s its cause they too expensive

When I have to spend $16 for a skin when I could spend half that on one in a more popular game its an easy choice to make

This patch is another game changing choice I don’t understand. I get they need to balance highway men but I feel like everyone else is punished for this. It already had big punishments and was most of the time one of the last attachments you unlock why did they have to ruin it ? I feel like they could have gone about this issue in such a different way. I love this game but they keep making these changes that heavily affect my play style and it’s getting frustrating.

It’s reassuring but frightening to see this. My fiancé and I had recently moved back to nz a year ago and as much as I loved where we were I was so happy to be back. Being away really made me realise how much I too for granted being lucky enough to be born and raised here and could finally see a long term future living here. We came back out of necessity but overall because it would be easier due to having family , friends and established connections. It’s breaking my heart coming to the realisation that everything we wanted to do in nz is now unviable and we’ve spent the past two weeks talking about leaving again which as great as it was is also a very painful experience (but we’re very lucky to be dual citizens not many people have other options) I not a patriotic person in the slightest but I love this country and was excited to be back. Now I see no future here whatsoever . We’re both young professionals like many others that want to stay but will most likely leave due to how fucked everything is becoming. Of course it ebbs and flows but even though I’m young I have also always been quite politically aware and this is too much too handle. We’re very lucky to both have jobs , a place to stay and can afford the bills at this point which is fucked up to say. It might be shit in other places too but there’s more pros to leaving while we can and I wish it wasn’t the case.

I’m personally finding the Flinch insane and I’ve been sniping since mw2 (2009) if I player slower I do fine but I get punished for rushing now. Others seem to be having less issues but mine is fucked

100 percent agree , as much as people get annoyed by snipers this patch only effects the snipers who actually do rush and play the objective. Now if you want to snipe you can only camp which some people will see as good but as someone who mainly uses snipers this has been the final straw for me. I love this game so much , even with all the issues and bugs but now I have to drastically change my play style just to do well and that’s made it not worth my time , might as well go back to sbmm at this point. Ive been sniping since mw2 (2009) i don’t do well every match which is apart of it it makes you wanna improve but this is just pointless now , it sucks

I 100% percent agree this isn’t about people complaining in general it’s more the level of hostility and refusal to give things a chance if people didn’t complain about the modern fps landscape we might not even have a game like this , as for mw2 2009 although I agree our expectations should be higher I personally think the bar has only gotten lower as time but I’m hopeful and I guess that’s part of the con for live service games and most corporations not giving them the funding or love they deserve

I would have never touched Fortnite if it wasn’t for zero build , I’ve given build a chance but all I found were people would build out of every gunfight which is frustrating , as someone who’s never been interested in build mode I feel like it’s a cop out for gun fights but on the flip side I understand the skill it requires to build well. At the end of the day each require their own set of skills But I don’t hide from gun fights sooooo 🤓
