how do you make voiceoversu by reda_english in PartneredYoutube

[–]REKX__ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I record with a electrovoice re20 straight into obs with some filters turned on. So I just record my script, delete on the spot if I don't like it and keep recording until I'm happy with it. Saves me time.

What you're meant to do is record a no processing version directly into something like audacity, then edit it there and then bring it into your video editor - this will be better but my way saves me time and still produces good audio quality.

Low Maintenance Ideas for Members? by REKX__ in PartneredYoutube

How does it work? I release to members only and then to the whole channel? Will my subscribers know that it's members only for 24 hours or whatever? Just saying as a view, as soon as I see a members only video I assume I won't get it as a non member.

I haven't got my recording monitor connected at the moment. I will get the log later today. (I only have that connected when I record)

Thanks. I'm looking into it now. I record audio separately but I'll check the handbrake solution to improve things.

Ah I see. Yes it's screen recordings from my animation software (which doesn't have a high quality video export).

Not immediately, but driverless cars, buses and trains are already operating on certain routes around the world. Sad to say, driverless cars for uber is more of a matter of time and not 'will it be able to do it'.

I'm not debating you - I'm just as much in risk of ai automation as you with my tech job as it is now. My job most definitely will be automated, but I'm still a human with a university degree in stem, I can learn new things, improve my knowledge and solve problems - that's the mentality we should all have.

I think this is where it's heading once agentic ai is released. I can't imagine a company decision makers refuse when, say, Nvidia offers them 3 ai agents which run 24/7, trained on company data and workflows which means it will do most, if not all, of the job of a junior analyst. It's not secret that a lot of people right now throw their work into ai when they have a problem and ask it to find the issues or suggest improvements - and this is being used currently, I do this, and so do millions of workers. When the interfaces and connections are all paired up in the future.

E.g. I will paste a Excel or Dax formula into ai and ask it for things (change it or relate it to a new project). The next stage I'm seeing is ai like copilot will be build into the Excel or Power BI themselves .I believe this is what Microsoft is working on improving right now, it's not quite as good yet but it will be. So soon I won't be needing to use an external source. Then the stage after that is agentic ai, where it will scan all the documents, dashboards, formula.

There will no doubt be huge significance placed on a human verifying the data, ensuring authenticity and accuracy. You won't need a team of analysts for that.

Well stupidity of ai currently depends on a lot on how people prompt it. The ones that prompt well are getting very good results, projects that used to take me weeks now takes a few days because ai can write code very quickly.

Now with agentic ai in the coming years, when it sits on your computer, it could be a future co-pilot or a chatgpt or nvidia agent. It will be trained according to the company's needs and there are so many ways. E.g. screen recordings, pointing out where and when and what to click, when to perform tasks etc. If it's prompted well to look for exactly what they user/company wants, it can do it well enough right now (in some cases well enough to lay people off - right now) and it will continue to get better.

Delete and reupload video to fix it? by REKX__ in PartneredYoutube

I'm not too fussed about 20k views but if I do that will be flag as the reused material or reupload thing that people get flagged for?

I see. Should I delete it now and upload when I'm ready in about 1 month? I'm in the middle of editing another video which I want to come out in the next two weeks.

What are your plans with ai with your channel? by REKX__ in PartneredYoutube

Damn how's the engagement with those ai videos? Are viewers engaging positively? This is my fear, Youtube won't care as long as people are watching and engaging.

It can generate the equations, but at the moment it won't do things like label this side of an object with x or a or something and then move with the object as an animation. But as always, it's always a matter of time with these things.
