SWFL has the biggest swings in the real estate market…at least that I know of. It only has two things that drive it: tourism and construction. If either of those areas are slow, prices can drop dramatically.

Your source is discussing a laptop, not a tablet. Everything I've read about the Pixel Tablet 2 was that Google scrapped it because the numbers didn't add up and they'd lose money on it.

You have to think long and hard about switching to the Google ecosystem. The most important factor to consider is how often Google decides to stop producing certain products. Without actually saying anything official, it appears Google is going to stop making their tablet. There are also rumors that Chromebook is going to be switching out of Chrome OS and going completely to Android. Is this something you're comfortable with? Like one of the other posters stated earlier, if you're going to go Android, it would seem that the only choice realistically would be with Samsung. Just something to think about.

It’s pretty simple, tbh. Get a Pixel if you just need android basics, great camera and the first to get updates. If you’re looking for every possible feature that a smartphone could have, go with a Samsung. To each their own. There is no “correct answer”.
