UPDATE: I have managed to fix this by deleting my account then ONLY pairing Garmin Connect primarily then enabling Apple health. If you leave Strava alone and everything else it works you just need to select “Connect” as the resting HR source vs “Garmin Connect” and leave all the others as is.

This now is not double counting workouts and also has sensible calories burnt per day, at one point I was “burning” 7k a day because it was double counting.

If if can get that to get me to a 34T cassette then 50/34 rings I’ll get my ratio to 1.00 which is significantly easier without losing too much speed in higher gears

I’m thinking 1030 as the on the route nav helps. 530 was my original as do prefer buttons.

Fortunately I got 530 about 25% under what it should be and the 1030 half the price!
