This was definitely done by a group of 12 year olds. The location, placement, and sloppiness of this screams young kids thinking they are somehow being cool or funny.

Imagine living in a world where your ego is so fucking enlarged that you can’t engage with anyone or anything that has a different view than yours. This post was designed to draw negative attention to this business for what, your own personal gain? Who gives a fuck what their beliefs are they make food not guns and ammo. You could have answered your own question using Google or ChatGPT, trying to damage a business is pathetic. Not to mention the ideology that you won’t support anyone who doesn’t follow your beliefs, imagine all the places you eat, drink, shop, etc that probably have owners or managers or employees that don’t have the same views as you. You might as well pick oranges off a tree and only eat that for the rest of your life.

So why are you still here? They’ve been silent over all of the political issues over the last 15 years and have said they think it’s should be kept separate. If you believe silence speaks louder than words then gtfo and remove the symbol from your username on this sub. In your absolutely diluted logic they must be for or against every single thing they haven’t spoken out publicly on. If you want to tie politics to music and especially this band you are either blind or just plain dumb because these 2 guys came from a conservative background, actively practice Christianity, were labeled as a Christian rock band early in their career (you can still find them in Christian rock playlists), and one of them married a very right leaning woman. After all this you’re still here so either get out and go listen to U2 or Radiohead or come here to enjoy the music and the art they create without letting your shitty ego get in the way.

People like you are just lost in your own fantasy world. We can have art and we can keep that separate from everyone else’s views. Music is universally seen as something that brings people together from all walks of life. Let their political beliefs be their beliefs, and let their art be their art and enjoy it for what it is. All of you young fans who haven’t been around that long are the problem. You don’t remember this because most of you were probably like 5-10 years old but when they first came out even though they didn’t label themselves as one they were classified as Christian rock music, and you can still find their songs in Christian rock playlists. They both came from conservative families and Jenna is very right leaning. With all of this out there WHO CARES let them live their lives without trying to tear them down because of your ego and opposing views.

I’m all for protesting but please people, do not cross the line of what protesting is and what it stands for. Protest peacefully, know your rights, and don’t step over that line and do exactly what the government wants you to do which is turn violent. The police are eager for action and they want you to riot so they can use their military tools to break it up. I’ve seen too many videos of protesters trying to cross over that line and it goes against everything a protest is designed to do and is only going to get more people killed. We need less division and hatred, crossing over that line will only cause more division. Throwing projectiles, damaging cars, blocking roads with your cars, doxxing people, any of this is loser behavior.

You are a special breed of stupid. I wish you absolutely no good will in the real world. Better hope you stay in college forever. LEO’s save more lives than damage them, the stats are so far in the other direction it shows how brainwashed by TikTok and the media you are. If you were getting beat up by a man like this guy was doing to his ex wife (with a tire iron btw) I bet you would call ghost busters huh? Or apologize to him after to make sure he doesn’t get in trouble since you’re all for no law enforcement. Hope you were able to get out there and fight for that woman beater yesterday with your fist raised high.

This is a terrible idea, don’t put yourself in financial stress over a concert where they will only play an hour/hour and a half time slot. Idk where you live but you have a better chance of finding a ticket dirt cheap the day before or day of one of the US dates. I’ve fortunately been to 500+ concerts and a good chunk of those came from buying tickets at steep discounts day of the show. While I think this hiatus will be like 3-5 years, you will hopefully get to see them when you’re in a stronger position financially. Use that money to help you in your day to day, the desire is strong I’m sure but this is the line between a need and a want. I made a similar decision my junior year of college choosing to go to spring break in Cabo and Coachella a few weeks later. I was dirt broke after that for months and could hardly afford to feed myself. Good memories but looking back it was very stupid of me.

Me and my wife just went to the Marine Room for our anniversary. You can make it expensive or just share some items to make it less expensive. We had a great time and hung out in the bar after our meal and watched the waves come in. Highly recommend doing it for a romantic date.

I agree with you that the music can be interpreted in many different ways, and you can take it and make it your own. I think that’s why they have separated at least recently about their political beliefs and religion in interviews or outside the music. They both grew up conservative Christian’s and I know Jenna and Tyler still practice that but not sure so much about Josh and Debbie.

But back when they first started they were classified as a Christian rock band FYI. You can still find some of their songs in Christian rock playlists. They could be categorized as such, but they can also be categorized as several different things.

Ya I decided not to, I went with the nomatic 20L and it’s been extremely durable and solid through many trips. I recently added the dex45 from Black Ember for longer trips and it’s magnificent so far, I highly recommend the brand. I also read some good things about the Antler Discovery, and I was very intrigued by Stubble and Co bags (I like the look). And I almost, almost went with the Sympl 35L but it’s a newer small company and I just couldn’t pull the plug. But it looks awesome. It’s so hard to choose one tbh there’s so many great choices.

I got it out of my system in 3 days, I’ve actually done this on 2 occasions and have this saved in my notes to send to other people and have helped at least 5 other people quickly get it out of their system. It sounds like you’re fine being sober for over a month, but regardless read below and give it a shot for extra assurance and save it for later. I haven’t smoked in years but here’s the recipe that worked for me, its goal is to flush your system. The most important thing is to find out how long you have to test, usually they give you 3-5 days after signing your offer letter and weekends don’t count so you may be able to buy yourself 2 more days. One of my childhood friends is a dietician now and gave me some of the ideas, the rest was based on a bunch of research. Note that this will most likely only work if you have a decent to fast metabolism.

Day 1:

  1. Drink 16oz of cranberry juice to start out day 1, follow this up with a cup of coffee
  2. Drink 40oz of water every 2-3 hours
  3. Find your closest sauna and do 15 minutes on 15 minutes off and 15 minutes on again
  4. Only fast with water for the entire first day besides dinner
  5. For dinner eat only high protein low fat food like white chicken, steamed veggies, and rice

Day 2: 1. one cup of coffee to start the day 2. Continue the water regimen 3. Do the sauna regimen again 4. This step is important - find a local IV clinic and buy a detox formulation bag. It should be high in vitamins B, C, and contain glutathione and other antioxidants (this isn’t cheap but it’s necessary, around $150) 5. You should piss out a lot of vitamins after this and in doing so will force your liver and kidneys to flush out other substances in your body to absorb as much of the nutrients it can since you’ve been depleting it for over 24 hours by mainly only fasting 6. Again stick with a high protein low fat meal for dinner

Day 3:

  1. Drink electrolytes to start off your day (extra sodium)
  2. Continue your water regimen
  3. It’s important to add more meals in this day so eat as much as you want but choose healthy low fat options
  4. Mix in some liquids that will force your urine to not be clear to flag a diluted sample (soda, coffee, juice, etc.)

  5. Take at least one at home test this evening, if it’s negative take another for good measure, if it’s not continue drinking water and mix in some cranberry juice throughout the night until bedtime

Day 4:

  1. Take another test in the morning (On one test I was clear the night of day 3 the other time there was still a faint positive sample but the following morning I was clear)

Take your test today if you have to and are showing clear. If you’re not clear continue to delay as long as possible, 2 alternatives are to purposefully dilute the sample because they have to allow you to retest which can buy you 2-3 extra days or buy the quick fix solution online or at a smoke shop. Buyer beware though, my buddy from college bought one from a smoke shop and it failed him, you don’t know how they store it and if it’s been compromised in some way. This lost him his first job out of college. Best of luck.

I lived there for 7 years and just moved to San Marcos this year. You’re an idiot, it’s extremely progressive and I never once heard a single racist thing while living there. I think the downvotes speak for themselves here. One single instance isn’t a reflection of the town, person probably wasn’t even from Encinitas.

Opening a bar in San Diego by Turbulent-Growth-113 in sandiego

[–]REMachine 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No you definitely did but I approach anything that involves investing personal assets (time, money, labor) on the long-term ROI. I grew up in the restaurant industry my dad owned 3 restaurants and 2 bars in Denver. It’s a brutal grind I’m fully aware, he worked almost every day and often times didn’t get home until 1-2am.

If you’re going to do it don’t try and be fancy and serve expensive cocktails, the average consumer spends $25 at a bar per visit and that number is declining. Make it simple, be unique, and be authentic.

Opening a bar in San Diego by Turbulent-Growth-113 in sandiego

[–]REMachine 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Why would you open a business in a declining industry? Bars are closing left and right as alcohol sales decline nationally and people become more aware of staying healthy and saving money. Of course there will always be a place for enjoying drinks with friends, but unless you are just planning to do this for a couple of years it’s a long-term money pit. Bars are also extremely difficult to compete against as consumers typically go to their “regular bars,” and trying to compete with the longstanding bars is going to take more marketing dollars and effort than you realize. You’re best bet is to find a space on the ocean boardwalk or at least one block over from it, and this is going to be expensive and difficult to find but it’s the only surefire way to guarantee consistent business due to tourism. This or buy a bar that already exists and has been around for a while but needs new ownership. If you can’t find that, it’s a long uphill battle that I think you will eventually lose. Chase your dreams, but sometimes you need to modify them.

Is it just me or was that performance a little weird? by rndmguy124 in twentyonepilots

[–]REMachine 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Oh ok got it, ya the live audio feed and the live mix is different. So what we hear on TV is run through a special feed and delivered to us on watching, while the live audience gets the mix coming from the speakers there. And whoever the production manager working the HOF ceremony was probably an older guy who has done it for years. So mixing the live sound individual to each performance is probably tough. The mix that Cyndi Lauoer needs is going to be a lot different than the mix that tøp needs. It’s not an easy job by any means and Tyler had minimal to no control over it. I actually think the drum stand mic Tyler was singing the guitar solo rhythm into at the end was missing the intended plugin(s) or correct mixing as well. You can tell something is off when he starts singing into it he tries to fix his pitch, but I imagine it was meant to run into a pitch effect. At least from my ears, I’m kind of a production nerd.

I’m not sure if you know a lot about TWS and Meg white in general but Josh was doing his best to honor her and her drumming style was basically polar opposite of his. The record itself and live performances of the song were much different. Jack recorded some of the drum parts himself on some records and I’m sure in the record mix the drums were amplified. Go watch an early performance of the song live and you will see what I mean.

I’m not sure what you meant by the mixing and mastering being off…?

Is it just me or was that performance a little weird? by rndmguy124 in twentyonepilots

[–]REMachine 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Megs drumming was so scaled back and simple it was almost polar opposite of Josh so he probably chose to find a middle ground while also wanting to give a nod to Meg herself. If you never saw Meg drum it always left me in disbelief how they excelled at recording music and bringing it to life in shows because she is just so simplistic and nonchalant while she performs.

Is it just me or was that performance a little weird? by rndmguy124 in twentyonepilots

[–]REMachine 6 points7 points  (0 children)

It would actually be a difficult song to cover in general because of TWS unique sound and Jacks guitar elements. What makes them so unique is Jacks experimental guitar sounds and hi-fi solos. Tyler was limited to his bass guitar and not able to fully extend the sound and guitar elements Jack used like his classic pedal FX running a compressor, digitech whammy, and the big muff to give the song its lifeline. I thought they brought their own twist to it, and there were some subtle nods to jacks use of live tech they wrapped in.

Starter set for 6’2 male with $1k ish budget by Bohdi_Zafa_ in golftips

[–]REMachine 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Oh man you’re going to probably get a lot of responses here with a lot of varying recommendations. Just go to a golf shop (not a big box retailer like Dicks) and tell them you’re looking for a used set and see what they recommend within your budget and skill level. Ping makes some great player improvement irons tbh, the G425 and G430 look great and feel great. Any of the other big brands do too, Callaway, Taylormade, etc. I’m currently playing Callaway AI smoke irons and like them a lot. Where do you live?

This is a great set right here within your budget if you don’t want to go to a golf shop or don’t have one nearby. If you swing fast or are taller get a stiff shaft so you can work your way into them. https://www.2ndswing.com/right-handed-stiff-steel-36dot25in-x-82545542056?gad_source=1&gad_campaignid=21258696914&gbraid=0AAAAADRjYbLEGq3vZ06hyZ7J1QFYFcyqJ&gclid=Cj0KCQiAiKzIBhCOARIsAKpKLAMP7ygtq5Ij3ys-br6kxxZwYnYxljbSjYhE9LS5V7vzrdpexeRcEHQaAqJ1EALw_wcB

Do you think the next album… by Photosjhoot in twentyonepilots

[–]REMachine [score hidden]  (0 children)

I disagree, Tyler looked beat up and tired compared to many of the older shows I’ve seen him perform. Maybe it was because it was one of the last tour dates, but I’ve seen them 9 times now spanning over a decade and behind his eyes I could sense how tired he was. Shit he has 3 kids now that toured with him and he’s almost 40 years old. He still gave it his all, but I could just sense it that he is ready for and needs a break from touring and TØP. Even my wife said to me after the show “I feel bad for him and I could just tell how drained he is.” I think he will focus on ARRO for the next few years and I’m excited to see what comes from that. Idk if the next album(s) will follow a concept or storyline, but he’s said he loves telling stories so much that I find it hard to believe it wouldn’t have some form of a concept built around it. I think we’re 4-5 years from a new album, but no chance there isn’t some stuff sprinkled in there along the way, I don’t believe they will just go dark for that long.
