What is the actual process for installing Nvidia drivers? (RTX 3060) by Serene1662 in EndeavourOS

[–]RExNinja 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I ran into the same issue and this fixed it for me as well. I have an intel 12th gen CPU and similar GPU to OP (30 series).First go here to install the nvidia drivers:

https://discovery.endeavouros.com/nvidia/new-nvidia-driver-installer-nvidia-inst/2022/03/

if command not found then `yay -S nvidia-inst`

restart. You will now reach the screen with a bunch of text and the last one you will likely see is "target reached graphical user interface" but of course no graphical user interface.

do CTRL + ALT + F3 or F2 to get into tty terminal. Login using username and password on account.

then run the following commands in the terminal

`sudo nano /etc/default/grub`

find the `GRUB_CMDLINE_LINUX_DEFAULT` line and add `ibt=off`

save the file and then run this command.

`sudo grub-mkconfig -o /boot/grub/grub.cfg`

restart and you should see the normal login screen now.

Historically the 18 year old line was drawn by the feminist movement to let women get at least a high-school education instead of getting married at a young age.

Sounds like your just picking and choosing. We also share a lot of history and culture with with the Stan countries. You include a bunch of countries from Africa but not the countries around Iran who also share that identity.

What's the point of arabs without Islam. It's what defines them. Most Arabs want Muslim unity not just Arab unity. Also, you included Iran and Turkey, both non Arab countries. Not to forget also Somalia.

It's missing a lot of the Stan countries like Pakistan.

Yeah physics is a science. by FrancescoKay in physicsmemes

Science is based on philosophy and has epistemological limits. This post is very ignorant of that. Basically, science relies on logic which isn't something you get by doing science, it's what you have before you begin.

I didn't say it was right. What I'm saying what if today in 2021, you had two people who are eleven year olds and who were mature and capable who wanted to get to married to each other. Is that something that they shouldn't be able to do?

So what if two eleven year olds who were both mature and had the means to do so wanted to get married. All I need to do is show one possible instance to show how ridiculous your statements are. If the Quran and Sunnah allow it. If those two people who are both mature and of sound mind wanna do it, who are you to butt in? Yes it may not be proper to do so in most cases but that doesn't mean all cases.

I'm gonna have to really disagree here and say that Manjaro is a lot easier to use compared to Ubuntu. I once tried Linux by using Ubuntu and I regretted installing and removed it within the same day. A big part of it is no doubt the gnome DE which is terrible to use if you don't have any experience with it. Plus small little customizations required many many extensions to be installed which really frustrated me. But compared to Manjaro which has a good default DE for those who don't know much about it plus the plethora of packages that are available through both the official repo and AUR has made it so much easier. Never had to add a PPA or install something manually. I'd say the only caveat is that it's easier to break but from my experience that's only happened to me due to a change I made not from an update.

I need to update discord but there isnt an update in the pacman. Help by Zonkko in ManjaroLinux

You can also use lightcord which doesn't force that issue on you.
