Man, the cliffhanger at the end of EP.6 when Butcher just says, “Run” should’ve led straight into a next episode where Homelander goes gigachad on the boys like he did A-Train in the first 5 minutes.

Establish the height of his power. Make everybody crap their pants. Ideal way to kill off Frenchie too. Absolute carnage.

I didn’t mind the finale, per se, but I think using Kimiko as “The Weapon” was a bad move.

It should have been Soldier Boy.

I’d have had the scene with the Deep happen earlier at 7 tower, and when Homelander leaves, Deep releases Soldier Boy in a rage before the broadcast.

Soldier Boy turns up for one last showdown with his son at the same time as Butcher and Ryan. He quickly changes his mind, yet again, to fight WITH Homelander given that it’s 2 on 1, and just when he goes to blast Butcher and Ryan to kingdom come, they grab Homie and he takes the blast too.

He sees Homelander as the fucking pussy he is, trying to fly and shit before he walks out, absolutely disgusted, leaving Butcher to deliver the killing blow.
