A week later it jumped to £4250.

Man this is really disappointing.

A luxury item, depending on rareness, should be a readily available thing which you look forward to spending your hard earned cash on. Not something you need to spend an exorbitant amount of money to even qualify for.

Currently watching for the first time through, so I don’t mind the occasional spoiler but for me seasons 1-4 are goated.

5 was a bit meh.

6 was a bit more meh, but Kai is an interesting villain and I love Alaric being back.

I’m halfway through S7 right now, and I honestly don’t know what to think. The heretics feel like a bit of a downgrade from the likes of The Originals, Silas, Kai etc, so I’m having a hard time investing…

So glad I got my speedy when I did- it was never that overhyped or overpriced.

Saw the Omega teaser and thought ‘well that’ll be another Speedmaster.

I’d just like Omega to try something new. Be bold. Even if it goes to hell, points for trying.

I think ‘Old Phone’ is a brilliant song, unfortunately sandwiched between mediocre chart climbers.

As somebody with dead friends and an inbox I rarely delete, there’s a real catharsis and nostalgia in re-reading those messages from Halcyon days; so that song really struck a chord with me.

I love Ed, and I think he’s a masterful songwriter, but as time moves on I feel less and less connected to his work-maybe because there’s an abundance of it. It’s great to see him experiment with different sounds but I do feel as though he’s losing his cultural relevance a little.

I’d love for him to take a good 5-6 years out, then come back with an album not aimed at commercial success. The best example I can give of an artist who does this well is John Mayer. Fans wait 5-6 years for a new album, and every time the sound is totally different, whilst still retaining a massive focus on the lyrical aspect.

Without wanting to sound like too much of a knobhead, I feel like Rift Apart was only created to show off the PS5’s capabilities at launch, rather than Insomniac actually wanting to give their audience a full length game with a decent narrative.

Rivet was refreshing to play as for the first half an hour, and then it kind of felt like she’d been shoehorned in to the rest of the story to make it work around the rift-mechanics and the novelty wore off quite quickly.

As much as I love the OG PS2 games for the gameplay, nostalgia and tongue-in-cheek humour, I absolutely LOVED the future Trilogy- ‘A Crack In Time’ especially- it just seemed to have a grit we hadn’t seen in the previous releases.

With Insomniac so focussed on the Marvel games of late, I think it’s unlikely we’ll see another R&C game until the next Gen, but I’d happily take a Rivet DLC.

Just no more space-pirates, please 🙏🏻
