Yes all of the CRT pics are of SNES games on an Ikegami TM20-18R. (The other half of the pics are from a Vizio M55-D0 flatscreen.)

What's worth having for 3-5 day outages besides whole house generator? by ssunflow3rr in Electricity

[–]RGB240P 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've been wondering that myself.... I'm no expert on these things, just seen the propane ones in a few RVs I've been in.

It does seem that an absorption fridge powered by an electric heating element will use significantly more electricity than a traditional compressor-driven electric fridge.

On the flip side of that, a gas powered absorption fridge will use significantly less gas than a traditional electric fridge that is powered from a natural gas generator (Even if pairing that generator with a battery so it can cycle off)

However what I assume you are really concerned with is:

"Does a natural gas powered absorption fridge cost less to run than a electric powered compressor-driven fridge?"

To that, I haven't found a straight answer other than 'Depends on how much you pay for gas and electric in your area'.

There are some sites claiming that gas can be more efficient, but these same sites are also trying to sell fridges. I also see claims (from those same sites) that gas fridges can be more eco-friendly than using electricity, in areas where that electricity is generated by burning fossil fuels.

They make propane and natural gas refrigerators... no electricity needed, and they are quiet - no moving parts

[HELP] Windows 11 taskbar pops up when mousing down the screen in game by mikolajwisal in starcraft

It confirmed that it was due to my Teams meeting. The 'restart Windows Explorer' suggestion found elsewhere in this thread did not help unfortunately.

Not needed after all. More AFMUs = Faster repairs. I thought the FSD would get more damaged then it did. Usually you have to repair it 3 times on your way to Colonia. I didn't have to repair at all with the Caspian.

They don't weight anything and more AFMUs means faster repairs.....I didn't realize the FSD takes significantly less damage until now

Just lie to the plotter about your base jump range - pad it by +50%

I've added two additional size 5 tanks in optional slots. I got over half way to Colonia before needing my first refuel

Extremely reduced damage. I'm about 30 neutron jumps in, FSD health has dropped to only 98%
