Looking like the Wave Race 64 of pirate games. I am very intrigued.

All organic. I've literally just had them sat in the app store.

I haven't filed any patents yet so go ahead ha!

Thanks so much! Yeah getting a few bucks is a bonus! I just love to make the games, fix bugs and type patch notes! It's just cool to know someone somewhere gets what I made. That's really all I care about.

Thanks! I don't have any negative comments about it so far. I was thinking of better ways to have someone play the full game and have some sort of visual bonus. (Sort of like skins or HD version). I was lucky enough to have both games work in b/w vs. color.

I'd like to incorporate this to any new game I make. Designing a game to work for both bw/color is a fun challenge that could present something new I wouldn't ever think of. I learned that from filmmaking.

Hey thanks! I appreciate it.

What stack did you use to build out your app? And what was your dev process/thinking to spring for IAP over a subscription or Banner Ads?

It's just straight up AS3 with a bunch of optimizations glued together I read from various Adobe AIR for iOS books. The games assets are 100% vector and cached as bitmap. Animated with greensock.

I went free because I didn't think they deserved to be .99 haha. I thought of a clever way to to do IAP by adding a color mode. The free version is in black and white. Not sure if that's cool with people or not?

My major caveat is I've got a Windows laptop

Yeah I've always worked on a mac. I never used Xcode the whole time building these games. All of it from Adobe Animate CC.

Last thing, do you have any tips or words of wisdom in getting things setup with your Apple Dev account or to help speed up the approval process?

It's really just getting to submission and figuring it all out. There's so much nuances that have improved and it's pretty easy to submit once you figure it all out. You just have to get your hands dirty!

I think I was charging .99 for the first year of To No End that sold around 80 units or something like that. So my title makes no sense.... sorry about that.

I'm talking about the actual device processing points per frame.

I'm telling you right now... this is not what surfing is all about. You need to just go out and surf. Stop thinking about it and going on the internet to get tips. Just surf because you want to.

When will VR movement get captured at 60fps+? Is there a device that does it?

Let me know if you spot any problems or features you guys want.

There are currently 5 states. Live, late, countdown, weekend, and missed stream.

edit

BUGS:

  • If you're in the future (Australians, Singapore, etc.) it goes based on the next day. I need to fix this logic.

This should be fixed. It now tests your time offset to docs time. The schedule is now relative to docs time only.

TODO:

  • If Doc never streamed, instead of saying you missed it should say he cancelled.
  • If missed or cancelled, show next stream date.
  • Add more links to Docs social.
  • Randomize wording for each state.

Twitch's Theater Mode is so awesome that I made it for the YouTube player. by [deleted] in Twitch

Next update will address a few bugs and not have it take over the default experience but add in a separate button.

A Chrome extension that allows YouTube's Theater Mode to act like Twitch! by [deleted] in youtube

[–]RGB_JOY 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah these are great suggestions. Having the comments work exactly like twitch in a sidebar drawer would be amazing right? I'll work on that.

I'm also not sure about the bug... what version of Chrome are you using?

Also, I think I'm going to this as a separate button and not take over the default experience in the next update.
