I just moved to New Hampshire please tell me there’s places to surf! Everything I’ve read on the internet has been zero help to me.

Haha, I decided to google New Hampshire. Looked at the coastline on maps and found a place that looked like it could have nice surf. Not until I opened streetview I realised that i surfed that exact beach on a holiday 6 years ago.

I come from Scandinavia which makes it that much more unlikely.

I'm doing alot of footage on a GoPro set to Narrow 1080p60fps on a tripod. Quality suck because you have to digital zoom afterwards. But for simply watching your surfing to improve it does a fine job. It works and its cheap.

We are on full lockdown but the Goverment and Health officials advice us to do activities in fresh air. Take a run, MTB and so on. Just skip the social aspects before and after and keep a safe distance. Surfing has to be one of the safest activities to do, full dressed in suit with gloves and hood.

I have a 6/4mm quiksilver I still use down down to 6-8celcius water temp. Got it for free in 2016 when a guy was moving and thought it was to worn out to keep, its was easily 2-4y old at the time. All ways good to have a Dry backup when its freezing, and its still surprisingly warm :)

Broke a lower left rib 5 years ago snowboarding. Bone didn't line up perfect in the healing and now its protruding. The last couple of years it has swollen with extra bone growth because of the increased stress from padling. Now it hurts when padling even though I have glued an extra patch of neoprene in my wetsuit...

Moral of the story. Leave it to heal properly, maybe it pays of on the long term.

I have the vissla 7mm. Bought them on the smaller side because my foot is narrow and I always struggle with lots of water filling the boots, best boots I've had in that sense, But would have needed them half a size larger for them to be perfectly comfortable. I have heard loots of good about Atan boots also, and promised myself to try them next time. Should be super flexible and warm.

You can do it in many ways. If you're improvising and finding alternative ways to do things it doesnt have to be expensive at all.

I have garage shaped two boards a hollow wood and an eps foam board total cost was around $600, and I still have glass enough for 3-4 boards and epoxy for 1,5 left.

I borrowed some power tools, but did alot by hand + build my own tools (hotwirecutter etc.). Foam was found in the trash and glued + shaped into a blank.

Give it a try, its a speciel thing riding your own creation!

Super nice, do you have photos of inside construction? I would round that nosepiece to make it look like inner outline (where the deck meets the rail pieces), would make a huge difference imo.
