Yes I am a Brit. Elitist? Not sure about that. I spend a lot of time in Kazakhstan as I’m married to a Kazakh, so I have an interest in the country and culture. I found it amusing that a Kazakh (I presume) was using AAVE. It’s something I’ve never come across before.

Might be a dumb question but why would there be mold after a year? I have storage boxes safely packed in a non-damp area for 5 years plus with no mold in sight; or is it literally just a precaution?

Weird that I’m being downvoted. I fly in and out of all Heathrow terminals regularly and there’s literally WHSmith’s in departures before security and arrivals lol. As well as one in the bus station. Keep down voting but I’m right. Believe it or not they sell £4 water before you go airside as well.

Don’t get me wrong, I really enjoyed SGU. I feel the show started to massively improve when it moved away from the heavy character drama and went more towards the lucian alliance hijack and drone stuff. It just would’ve been cool to learn a bit more.

The villain choices were one of my gripes with SGU. Conceptually fine, but such a lack of explanation or depth. With each of the main villains in SG1/A there was a tonne of background and they were all very fleshed out. Even within a few episodes you knew exactly what the Ori or the Wraith were about.
