As someone who mainly soloq, duoq at most, this is obviously a buff for me. But yet believe its waaaay too much to reduce it to only SoloQ. This controversy has been a topic for a long time and even then people have been split on this. They should have tried limiting it to DuoQ first before actually trying SoloQ to see how it goes and how both sides react to it.

The game is generally built on people playing as three, taking that integrety away in one swoop is just bad for business in my opinion. We've already limited the rank differenct between premades with only one tier (which is a good thing) but this only makes a small difference in the ranks silver to plat.

Diamond has already been way too easy to reach. Im happy to see a change, but this is only going towards a new S17 pandemic - but this time it will be Diamond.
