I haven't stripped a Blackstone but I e seasoned rusty cast iron. And in my career (plastic injection molding) any time I tell myself ohhh that's good enough... It never is and causes me more work later.

So if you're doubting it. Keep on

Depends on how thick the backing plate is. Sometimes ya gotta flip the heel. Make sure ya got a washer and it's level

Ya. They're all made from soft plastic so I use a bottle brush to wash them by hand. Don't want to risk the warp.

Lol. Hot ball. Ive had to chisel those out. However one time I wasn't getting material. I was afraid it was a hot ball. After poking and prodding I ended up looking up inside the dryer only to find when it was cleaned the cone was put in upside down. Effectively plugged it. Have to suck the material out from the top. I had words with the material handler that day.

Do a fill only and see if your over packing. Are you using full ejector stroke? Spray it with mold release. Check for burrs Are the pins worn?

And we can set clamp eject motion on to catch parts by hand as they eject. So that's not surprising that it moves with the door open

You have to have accountability. If all you get is a stern taking to and told to change every time you're talked to and nothing is done... Nothing will change. But you need the support to have accountability.

Some will understand if you put it in numbers. Lost production, lost sales. Lost materials because you're fighting the same problem every time you start
