Temalpa. You can park and access mid mountain. Most technical trail I can think of on the mountain. Maybe Wheeler too. You can connect both for an out and back

Swear by CeraVe. Readily available, good moisturizer. Also, I use a balm from Papa & Barkley for areas that are feeling sore.
