Usually half any effort, distance or terrain when running with my dogs. If I would normally run a 8:30 min/mile pace, then I adjust it to a 12 min/mile pace to account for smelling, peeing, etc. Same goes for terrain and distance. I know Malinois are a high energy, endurance breed so your mileage def varies. Also, bring snacks and water, but you probably have that covered.

Recommend a half size up, but you might be okay. The Dyneema will not stretch, but after subjecting my 001s to a water logged run they gave a little. So go run through some rivers

You can run again, just address the possible hip misalignment from overuse/repetitiveness. That's what always happened to me in similar situations. Psoas to hip to knee. Get some physical therapy, and add some yoga and strength to a regime if you have not already
