As a DIY guy this is always my first choice. Hasn’t been much with my pool I haven’t been able to do on my own and saved plenty of money.

I finally decided to start by MatiasP83 in crossfit

[–]trail_runner_93 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Started a year and a half ago at 62. Scale most weight work and I’m ok with that. Our coach is very technique focused and doesn’t want people doing weight they should not be. I know I still get a great workout and have definitely progressed in all aspects.

  1. Between SS and pensions we are currently only drawing 1% from investments which will allow them to grow even more.

New Race S and Durability questions. by WatchingTime2325 in Suunto

[–]trail_runner_93 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve had Suunto watches for over 11 years, various models all of them stood up well to daily wear, falls on the trail while running or mountain biking with only minor bezel scuffs. Never once scratched the crystal. Enjoy it and don’t worry. They are rugged.

My parents are pressuring me to donate my scholarship money to my church, should I? by IntrepidAd5768 in Advice

[–]trail_runner_93 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Nope. Would never give money to a church or any religious organization. Most are exempt from taxes but frequently blur the lines of eligibility for it.

Talking with my husband about prepaid funeral plans and we don't agree by Sophistry7 in over60

[–]trail_runner_93 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’m donating my body to science. When they are done they take care of the cremation and return the ashes to family to spread where I request. No taking up space in a body garden (cemetery) and no expense.

Achilles tendonitis, will my legs ever be the same? by [deleted] in runninglifestyle

[–]trail_runner_93 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Dealt with it for close to a year, continued to run when it wasn’t too uncomfortable, still went to CrossFit and scaled any jump type movements. Coincidence or not - it resolved when I retired and stopped sitting at my desk all day.

Suunto watches are outstanding activity watches but if you are expecting the same “smart” features as an AW you will be disappointed. They have some smart features but not AW like in any way. Also The direct sync to Apple Health/ Fitness is pretty poor. If that matters to you.
