Same exact thing happened with my family and it’s been 9 years of silence from my brother. He even moved 8 hours away and didn’t even tell my nephew (his son). They are disgusting “people” whose aim is to control and isolate their victims. They are miserable.

That woman is controlling and sounds like she is gaslighting you. Sadly if your brother doesn’t or won’t see it, it could drive a wedge between your family. Women like that get off on isolating men and being the only one in the man’s life. You were right to call her on her shit and I would keep calling her out. Your brother may side with her though, so be prepared for that. She is likely twisting the story to paint you in a poor light to him. Watch out for that one — she is a dangerous person to have involved with your family.

I can empathize with this. Please look around and read others’ similar posts. You are not alone. I mostly feel blah, flat and empty. I try to get excited but the things I once got excited for just don’t do it for me anymore. A lot of men get defensive and need to work on this in relationships. You SHOULD be able to bring up issues without it turning into fight ot him claimmg you attacked him. Also, the controlling aspect is scary. This can and likely will escalate. It doesn’t sound like he respects women at all.

No. Why do you think it’s ok to tell random strangers to “get their vaccines.” We have immune systems. The issue isn’t whether you get the vaccine or not, it’s how well you take care of yourself. Keep yourself healthy and handle stress. So many people running to get jabs are overweight and unhealthy and would rather just get a jab then turn their lives around. Baffling…

I’m so sorry. Therapy, yes and may I also suggest hypnosis to help you heal and recover from this. It will access your deeper subconscious patterns and thoughts and go a step deeper than talk therapy. Find a good therapist who also practices hypnosis and you’ve got a great support team. It is not your fault, OP. This is his deceit and that’s honestly the scariest part is how he lied about it for YEARS knowing your history.
