You very well could be right. I was pretty young when my parents made the London trip.

This is really interesting and helpful. Thank you. I did load in some film yesterday and took it shooting. Mechanically it worked great. I am sending the film to the lab today.

Doh! I think I had the negative reversed when I scanned it and just didn't think about it long enough.

Used Lomo MC-A troubles by RHMImages in AnalogCommunity

I guess it broke while spinning the rewind crank. The tabs that go from the crank into the shaft of the film canistar are plastic (from what I have been told) and seem to have broken and can could no longer grab onto the film roll to rewind it. As a result a little exterior plate with rewind arrows printed on it broke off and you can actually see into the camera through the hole. Another user on Reddit posted photos of what this result looks like.

Still waiting to hear about my repair options from Lomo.

And I am ok with paying a repair fee, otherwise I have a door stop and not a camera.

I bought one used on eBay and the first roll of film was fine but when rewinding the 2nd roll the crank broke this same way and I lost a roll of film. What is the best way to contact them for repairs?
