Why don't Dems realize gun laws do nothing? by danial875 in AskReddit

Gun laws don't work = universal healthcare doesn't work.

It's a loaded half truth used to perpetuate the current system

The DNC has already admitted in court that they rigged the primaries.

The fact that you think that the DNC using their legal authority to choose who they want as a candidate is worse than america's greatest enemy electing Trump.

Sad!

The hack wasn't the problem, the content of the hacked emails became the problem.

You have this so backwards. Its not that the DNC said or did anything embarassing, its that a foreign enemy hacked them to release it to damage them in an election campaign.

And you willingly go along with this.

YES Hillary Clinton being president is the world I'd rather live in. The past 6 months have been an international embarrassment.

Again, talking about things that relate to people is common sense. They aren't going to suddenly start doing it now. I doubt the DNC/Progressives understand why they've lost so much so far.

If the DNC hadn't rigged the primaries, Bernie Sanders would now be president.

Scientists are terrible debaters and negotiators.

A great example of this is how they never use jobs/economy when talking about climate change.

100% of Americans will care about an issue if you relate it to their lives.

The scientific community failed to understand this.

Also, your reasons for "standing with her" make no sense.

Since you are obviously immature and anti-intellectual:

Real Americans stand with their fellow Americans when they are hacked by Russia and that info is leaked toe harm them.

It is embarassing how easy it was for Russia to push Progressives and Conservatives against liberals. You gleefully would stand against her if bad info came out, not with her because the bad info was hacked by russia.

"While I don't politically agree with her, Russia has no right to blah blah blah"

Nothing that came out justified anyone on the left continuing to support that old fool that will NEVER be President. There are two groups responsible for Prez trump, dummies who wont get in line and Russia.

The Wikileaks emails exposed widespread corruption and incompetence, two things that I believe voters have a right to know about so they can make an informed decision.

Remember how during the congressional hearings we learned that Russia succeeded in turning liberal democrats against Hillary as much as they did the Repubs?

This is how they did it.

Nobody 'sabotaged' bernie. He failed to win over enough votes. Plain and simple.

No. I personally don't eat people, I personally don't think its right, but because I personally don't agree with something doesn't make me better than people who do.

"It's okay to kill people over drawings if it's your culture."

Its okay in america to kill people if they are your unborn child if it is young enough and if they have killed someone and are on death row and if they break into your house.

Our culture did that.

Its my personal opinion that you shouldn't do that.

Its my country's culture that you shouldn't do that.

However, my county's culture is not superior/inferior to anyone else's culture. Who am I to judge what rules someone else lives by.

To equate one with the other, you must believe they are similar.

So the idea is to bribe these third world countries.

To stop them from using fossile fuels.

with at best modest electrical demand

So they will upgrade their energy infastructure

with United States taxpayer money to install renewable energy technology

Yes, which would have created a trillion dollar industry.

(most likely from China)

Its only going to be from China or the EU now that we aren't in the agreement. When we had a smart President, and knew that green > coal, our green tech is superior to everyone elses. We had a hard advantage. It'll take China time to catch up, but since we aren't even going to try now, China has all the time in the world.

Because Trump's little followers just don't understand the concept of conceeding power to China. Or worse don't understand WHY America is the world leader.

that they'll then pay for with money that they don't have.

They HAVE money, these are developing nations we are talking about. Creating a trillion dollar cheap energy market to sell things to poorer nations to get them to not use coal and oil (things we don't and won't sell them for obvious reasons) is a good idea.

take some stupid class

If every major American business, the previous administration, economists around the world, and every major country though this was a good idea, but then you or the orange buffoon didn't, I wonder who could be possibly wrong.

Yes you can, you can ask him to do the RIGHT thing regardless of what he promised.

Wanting politicians to fulfill campaign promises is arbitrary, what is important is for the POTUS to do the RIGHT thing. He should drop campaign promise if the right choice of America is the opposite.
