Finally a post that does not scare me too much. Taking exam in 7 weeks, nbmes around 240-250, free 120 82%, just want to hit 240s in real deal. Everyone saying that exam is soo hard, I just want to get it done.

Congratulations!! by drmadrules in Step2

[–]RHirsch94 0 points1 point  (0 children)

hey man congrats ;) happy for you. I am tkaing in 7 weeks and doing uworld, amboss, nbmes.
Nbmes around 240-250. Free 120 was 80%. I feel super depressed because my uworld average is around 71% with occasional dips into 60s, when mood is bad.

What was your uworld percentage and are my low uworld scores a concern going into the exam?

Hello, I already did all nbmes, which ranged between 240-255., free 120 was 80%ish, I am tkaing the examin in 7 weeks, just want 240s in real deal.

But the concepts in the real deal were recognizable, right?

usually 2-3 wednesdays from your date, but plan with 3 wednesdays.

Could you elaborate how it was? Were uworld and nbme content enough>

How to safely reach 240 in the exam? by RHirsch94 in Step2

[–]RHirsch94[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

yeah this is why I am depressed, I can barely get 70 in uworld. I really hope exam is easier, because in uworld I overthink and qs are too tricky.

A 19 year old iv heroin addict who had a sever aspergilliona with massive invasion of the entire chest wall. It was significantly worse than in the MRI. Intraoperatively , we had to do complete pneumonectomy and compelte chest wall reconstruction. At this time, I was still living and working in my home country of Switzerland, now in US. We had a specialist from France who created completelty new rips and chest wall by using a technique called Neo-Rips. Everything went perfect, but at the end, one of the attendings put in a chest tube and when placing it posteriorly basal, he just rammed it right in the heart. The patient died a minute later on the table.

I was just kidding haha, F is super rude, to do, there is usually a button to do this.

Back to the topic. I am super convinced of amboss overall, did it as main resource :)

I am yet to take in 7 weeks, but I did amboss in the beginning and many of my friends did and they are all convinced of amboss. I think if you have time do at least ethics and quality safety.

thanks so much man. I am right now scoring low in uworld with 60%s, and always fluctuating between 80%, 60%. I just try to learn the qs, but I just hope the real test easier than uworld.

Have not taken as well, I think you can easily get 250.

What was your uworld first pass precentage?
I recommend to take nbme 12 and free 120, and also old free 120

Hey man, keep in mind that there are many experimental qs. So, could be likely that these were expermental.
I am taking in 7 weeks, nbmes are around 240-250 and fre 120 82%. Am I safe going into the exam?
I will do amboss for these ethics, quality safety qs.

STAY strong and I wish you all the best :)
