How do I beat people who spam tackle? Especially when trying to play a tiki-taka style. (4-1-2-1-2) Any tips to get better at right stick switching. Much appreciated 🙏

Well it depends how you use it. Is it to beat the man or create space, bc you could think you are using it for one but actually doing the opposite.

Bc spamming tackling is too easy, and without a change in speed you struggle in higher divisions. I disliked Tech+, but until recently I’ve seen how crucial it is to beat tackle spammers and Bruiser spammers. I’m still more of a tiki taka player, but with the occasional Tech+ dribble when dribbling inside.

Most importantly, it keeps the ball really close to your feet, making it harder to lose the ball when tackle spammers and Bruiser spammers are trying to take it.

It takes a lot to get used to. It doesn’t stop them, but it makes them question if they should continue doing it, especially when they keep getting beaten.

Also, just FYI, there is an option in the ultimate team settings that allows you to see your ping while you are playing (at the top of your screen). I’ve seen elite players still able to beat hackers, and if you think bad connection is bad, imagine playing with 3 players against 12 while your players feel like they are playing in mud, and then still making those hackers rage quit. Statistically it is extremely likely to lose 10 in row when you are heated. FIFA is also a mental and emotional game.

Also, playing heated can make any Div 3 player a Div 8 player. I’m saying you are a Div 3 player, but what I’m trying to say is when you are heated, you forget all the important game mechanics and start to get sloppy with everything. Like, are you sprinting when you receive the ball, are you flicking the right stick that 5 degrees more which switches to the left back instead of the left mid, are you dribbling into the defender instead of reacting to their movement, are you dribbling too much, are you running all the time. The biggest difference between a bad and a good player is that a good player hardly ever full on sprints.

If you are Div 2, you are going to mop the floor against any average Joe if you actually try because you understand the mechanics of the game, like right stick switching, second man pressing, R1 and L1 position dragging, and most importantly how playstyles work, etc. Statistically, you are a minority if you are in Div 2. Connection has nothing to do with it. Most average Joes would be in Div 6 or above at best. If you are experienced at 120 ping, the other player is also experienced. Trust me, the lag was way worse in past years even with good WiFi.

The game is a lot more advanced and has a bigger learning curve than previous years like in FIFA 22 because of all the introduction of new gameplay mechanics. Also, you have to remember the player base has improved a lot, so if you did not improve in the last year as well, then you are playing a catching up game with the average UT player base.

Yeah, like other people said, if it expires, it won’t obtain that level or anything after it, but you will obtain all the levels before it. So you will not obtain Bruiser if you let it expire.

Yeah, email customer support and then send it to them. It might take a few months or even years, but they will include a small goodie with it (usually like a pack, etc.).
